I’m back in Chicago and getting back to the grind. Here’s a quick life update!
Hey Robin! :) I was just admitted to U of T for flute performance! what was your undergrad experience like?
So many U of T students!! I loved my time at U of T and while I haven’t been there in years I think it’s still a great school. Definitely make sure to take lessons with various teachers and find the right one for you. Don’t just go with the big names, some of them aren’t necessarily the best teachers for certain learning types! I made a ton of friends and learned an incredible amount. The school has it’s issues but every one does and it does allow you a lot of playing time and opportunities.
There was also a music theory one that was equally as cute which I’ll have to get next time I go ;)
(Shame it didn’t fit my flute very well or sound as good as the less fancy looking ones…)
