Thanks for all the recommendations! Here are my six picks.
Inktober day 17: Ornament
Try as he might, there is no escaping the official dress uniform.
I reread Maskerade recently and wanted to draw the chandelier scene.
I’ve mentioned before that I like painting gold, but this particular piece had me thinking that maybe, just maybe, it might be possible to have too much of a good thing...
Re-reading Witches Abroad.
Some sketches I did a while ago after re-reading Guards! Guards!. I had completely forgotten how good this book really was.
Won’t the real John Keel please stand up?
Decided to colour one of my inktober drawings. I also added a background and fixed some of my mistakes while I was at it.
Inktober day 29 - Double
John Keel and the impostor.
Inktober day 24 - Chop
I’ve been re-reading Night Watch. I wasn’t going to draw this scene at first, but my mind just kept springing back to it as I was trying to think of ideas, so here we are.
Inktober day 13 - Guarded
“Who watches the watchmen? Me.”
Another illustration of a scene from “Thud!”. It occurred to me that this probably doesn’t make much sense to anyone who hasn’t read the book, but hey.
Inktober day 7 - Exhausted
An illustration of a scene from Terry Pratchett’s ‘Thud!’.
I have to say, Unseen Academicals had a much greater impact on me now than it did back when I first read it in 2010. Sometimes it’s just nice to read a book about people learning to live happier lives and stuff.
Rufus drumknott 74?
I was going to say no since this request was sent outside of the time when I’m actually taking these requests buuuuut I kinda needed a break from studying and this palette looked like fun. Don’t make a habit of it, though. Next time wait for when I post one of those request meme things, ok? :)
Oh man, that outfit was tons of fun to draw. :D
Angua with palette number 47 of FallenZephyr’s 100 palette challenge.
I might do the Angua one as well, once I’ve finished the other requests.
Now this was a surprisingly fun palette to work with!
Brutha and Om with palette number 19 of the 100 palette challenge. This one wasn't a request. I've been re-reading Small Gods and wanted to draw some fanart.
