Cryptome, the well-known and long-lived online repository for information about freedom of speech, cryptography, spying, and surveillance, is down due to a potentially malicious file found on the site. Apparently the file has "reappeared by restoring an old file during cleaning," and has been removed as soon as the site's administrators have been appraised of the matter.

Call out Glenn Greenwald ... then this ... hmmm.

Having been accused of a conspiratorial bent on a few occasions, we kinda, sorta see where this is going, and will go so far as to venture that in a few years, the Cambridge study's conclusions (which certainly will cast all paranoid and crazy conspirators in a culpable light and worth of "social isolation"), will be escalated to enforce that anyone found of harboring "conspiratorial" thoughts will be bound and shackled in whatever WIFI-free dungeon the local host Big Brother government has created precisely for this ulterior subclass of humans.

Bank of America protester acquitted of vandalism
Today a San Diego jury acquitted 40 year old Jeff Olson on 13 counts of vandalism and he was also facing a 13-thousand dollars fine. It took the jury less than five hours to arrive at their decison. It's the case of a San Diego, California artist who was prosecuted for vandalism, after writing anti-Bank messages on public side walks, using chalk.
Olson's anti-bank messages included one that read: "No Thanks, Big Banks" and another that read: "Shame on Bank of America." Over the weekend, in a protest dubbed "Chalk-U-Pie" dozens of supporters drew their own colorful messages in chalk, including the phrase "This is NOT vandalism!". At the end of the ordeal, Olson said he was relieved it was all over.

A Texas teenager who has been in jail since March faces an eight-year prison sentence because of a threatening joke he made while playing an online video game.
In February, Justin Carter was playing “League of Legends” — an online, multiplayer fantasy game — when another player wrote a comment calling him insane. Carter’s response, which he now deeply regrets, was intended as joke.
“He replied ‘Oh yeah, I’m real messed up in the head, I’m going to go shoot up a school full of kids and eat their still, beating hearts,’ and the next two lines were lol and jk,” said Jack Carter, Justin’s father, in a statement to a local news channel.

Dem Rep. Hank Johnson: Amend Constitution to Restrict Freedom of Speech

"We need a constitutional amendment to allow the legislature to control the so-called free speech rights of corporations," said Johnson.
“These corporations, along with the people they support, other millionaires who they’re putting into office, are stealing your government. They’re stealing the government and the U.S. Supreme Court was a big enabler with the Citizens United case,” Johnson said at the Annesbrooks HOA candidate Forum in Georgia in October.
“They control the patterns of thinking," said Johnson. "They control the media. They control the messages that you get. So, you are being taught to hate your government--don’t want government, but keep your hands off of my Medicare by the way. I mean, we are all confused people and we’re poking fingers at each other saying, well you’re black, you’re Hispanic, immigration, homosexuals. You know, we’re lost on the social issues, abortion, contraception.
“And these folks," Johnson said, "are setting up a scenario where they’re privatizing every aspect of our lives as we know it. So, wake up! Wake up! Let’s look at what’s happening. We need a constitutional amendment to allow the legislature to control the so-called free speech rights of corporations.”
