hey I’ve been debating coming back on here for just a post or two but I just wanted to say i moved home again this week! I live in a council flat now with an actual fucking bedroom for once and I’m doing my best to decorate it the way I’d like/as much as my budget allows. slowly and surely my life is becoming much easier to bear and i’m so relieved. this is all I’ve ever wanted 🖤✨
i was making instant noodles last night while rewatching inside no 9 and i had a realisation that like. wise owl and the devil of christmas thematically have a LOT in common, specifically in the way they both deal with 70s nostalgia by highlighting a lot of its seedier and more horrific aspects. i originally wrote this as a massive twitter thread at 5am but there’s only so much i can put in 280 characters or less at a time, so i’m expanding on it here under the cut. here we fuckin go!!

did anyone else play the goncharov video game on the GBA???? it came out in like 2004 and from what I remember it was your standard platforming fare but i distinctly remember having the most fun playing the ice pick joe levels. i wish i’d played it on the wii though tbh. imagine using the wiimote to stab people with an ice pick as ice pick joe. i would have been THRIVING
