These are my latest twin portraits of Steve Jobs. I created them for Panorama, Italy's Number 1 weekly magazine. The creative director of the magazine requested a 'white on white' portrait where Steve Jobs was to be illustrated with all of Apple's white products. I created the mosaic but then became curious with what a black version would look like. The Panorama team included the initial portrait on the latest cover of the the financial section of the magazine - Panorama Economy.
I'm not really sure which of the two I prefer but i'll probably print them both, one next to the other, for my office...
This is the cover of Panorama Economy:
I have created the white one first but then I wanted also to experiment with one version in black. The Panorama team chose to go with the white one and they have used it in their latest cover of the Panorama Economy, the financial section of the magazine.
I am not sure which one I prefer. Probably I will print them one next to the other for my office...
This is the actual cover of Panorama Economy

<b>The guy (as you could easily understand) is holding a Lifebuoy. But that wasn't my job. :-)</b>
Mosaic illustration for the Lifebuoi (Unilever) campaign in Dubai. This celebrating guy is made out of thousands of handprints.
I am not working in Guinness Records :-) but this one is probably the biggest and surely one the biggest mosaic images ever made. The actual billboard in Dubai is 66 ft high and more 600 ft long. You can see it bellow.
This work is done in collaboration with the great team of LOWE DUBAI advertising. Thanks Chris and team! Based on a photo by Andresr from Shutterstock and hundreds of handprints photos from many photographers (Sorry, it's quite impossible to name them all here).

Over the past few months Facebook is in the center of the media's attention. That's for sure!
The social network reached the impressed landmark of 500 million registered and active users. And to add to this, Mark Zuckerberg decided to enter the charity world with a great contribution to public education.
But as always, success comes with a price. Facebook has started receiving criticism and various complaints. First, the intense focus on their privacy policies. Then, the technical issues causing serious delays and even black-outs, and last but not least, the "The Social Network" movie by David Fincher, where Zuckerberg is portrayed as an egomaniac who stole the ideas of his friends. I have a more sympathetic point of view towards Mark Zuckerberg than his criticizers because I like people who create, and know that success always attracts harsh stories.
My first Facebook related mosaic was of Zuckerberg for WIRED Magazine - published in July 2010, and has since been been republished in many prestigious international media. You can see the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/tsevis/4785888323/">Mark Zuckerberg mosaic portrait here</a>.
So when Sophie Jouanneault, Art Director of the French cinema magazine "Technikart", asked me for a mosaic portrait of director David Fincher, I was more than happy to create another portrait related to the Facebook saga.
David and Mark seem to have a lot in common - both bright, creative minds that have created valuable work.
