We designers are facing the challenges of our times by always diving deep to the past to find principles and analytic tools. This is my explosion. A pop, nostalgic, childish and yet futuristic vision of a always challenging profession."This is a poster I created for the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Semiotics and Visual Communication 2017. I am one of 21 designers interpret explosion as the prevailing visual sign of the 21st Century. Fail and celebrate! (by tsevis)

Some weeks ago a respected European newspaper commissioned me to create an illustration for a front page article about failure. The brief was asking for a happy joyful version of failure featuring fireworks and rockets like the ones we use on new years eve. I really liked this project and this is what I have created. Unfortunately the editors decided to go with another option. So this was my last failure for 2013. Joyful, colorful even if there is always a bitter taste when your work is rejected.
