STRANGER THINGS (2016) 1.07 "The Bathtub"
I'm sorry, mom. What, you're sorry? You're… you're sorry? That is not good enough, Jonathan. That's not even close. That's not even in the… in the ballpark. I wanted to tell you, I just— What if this thing took you, too? You risked your life… and Nancy's. I thought I could save Will… I still do.

I don’t want you to forget that I’m here. And I’ll always be here. No matter what.
“Do you remember that time you told me you had a Lego stuck up your nose? Like, it was like a, construction guy. You’d call him Larry. Come on! You don’t remember? He had the high viz jacket and removable hat. Well, I remember it like it was yesterday. Man, I was… I was fraked. ‘Cause Larry, I mean, Larry was way, way up there. I don’t even know how you got him that far up. I had to do surgery. I had to get tweezers to pull him out. I swear on my life. I don’t know, I just, I feel like you used to come to me more for help. Or just to talk, you know? 'Cause, like, you don’t do that anymore. Not like before.”
After a few minutes of Will still searching for the right mixtape, Jonathan clears his throat. “Can we — do you want to, you know, if it’s alright —”
“Jonathan,” Will says, gentle and firm all at once. “It’s alright. What is it?”
“You didn’t actually answer me earlier. About if you were okay?” Jonathan forces himself to keep his eyes on the road and not check his baby brother’s face. This is the last person on earth who he should be feeling nervous around, and yet.
(or: Jonathan and Will have a talk on the drive to Nevada before finally reuniting with El.)
“We’re gonna go get Jane and the four of us are going to Hawkins and drop you back in Lenora on the way,” Jonathan says.
Argyle breaks into laughter. Before Jonathan can even hiss about waking up the kids, Argyle says, “Shit, sorry, I’m not gonna wake ‘em up, it’s just — you’re joking. You’re not dropping me off like it’s Monday morning and I’ll be late to first period. Jonathan,” Argyle says. Jonathan has no idea how his name could be spoken with this much joy in general, let alone from Argyle right now. “I’m in it. Sorry to say, but I’m, like, part of the gang now.”

It's really stupid of me to laugh at this, but I was looking for scenes where Jonathan and Will were standing next to each other and I found that Jonathan shoved him AGAIN in this same scene. JONATHAN, THERE'S SO MUCH ROOM EVERYWHERE WHY YOU GOTTA WALK ON TOP OF WILL
I mean, I know why. As a fellow oldest sibling I get it.
But it's still funny.
