I have this headcannon that Azrael views Arslan as his chick and he just gives a death glare to almost everyone that comes within 10 feet of his chick. Just imagine Arslan is trying to meet with some important noble or something like that and all the poor noble sees is this huge raptor glaring at him from behind Arslan's back. He acts like a total sweetheart when Arslan is look though XD

Rough translation~.

Arslan Senki drama CD summary
I’ve finally managed to listen to the drama CD from the Arslan DVD Vol.4!
Summary:
- cast: Arslan, Daryun, Elam, Narsus, Farangis, Gieve (slightly disappointed because no Hirmes, Xandes, Kishward, Alfreed, etc)
- title: “New comrades” (refering to Farangis & Gieve)
- length: about 23 minutes in total
- summary: (very comedic story) Arslan tries to converse with Farangis and Gieve so that the crew can get to know them better, but super-super-overprotective Daryun interrupts their conversation. Sadly, Arslan’s efforts do backfire and everyone is quarreling rather than getting along with each other (actually it’s 99% Daryun’s fault, lol). Then Arslan mistakes the wine for water and gets drunk. He talks to each one of them what he has been thinking about them. (I’m gonna make little snippets of this scene later because it’s hella cute. He’s a true cinnamon roll!). Having said what’s been on his mind, Arslan falls asleep. The next day, he doesn’t remember anything what happened last night, but he notices that for some reason everyone seems to get along better than yesterday :D
- Actually, the alternative title of this drama CD could be “How Arslan won everyone’s heart in one night”.

OMFG, I haven’t managed to listen to the Drama CD yet, but just read the 4koma manga by Arakawa-Sensei and it is so hilarious.
It’s a parody of episode 11, Gieve throws some photos of Arslan toward the crowd of Luthitanian soldiers and then suddenly Daryun shows up out of nowhere and catches all of them XD
Daryun: Uwooooo, Your Highneeeeeess!!!!
Elam: Where did you take those photos?
Gieve: Those are spy photos [taken by me].

So this has been bothering me ever since the last episode of Arslan Senki aired, and the narrator was saying that Arslan is now 15 years old, because I was certain that at that point in the story, he’s still 14.
And guess what, I FINALLY FOUND THE QUOTE IN THE BOOK THAT ACTUALLY STATES HIS BIRTHDAY. THANK FUCK.
