Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".

To all the trans people who see this tonight, no matter what happens, we will survive. Trans people will still be here 4 years from now and 10 years from now and 100 years from now and tomorrow. We have always existed and we always will. The world cannot unlearn about us; we are too public, too loud, too beloved, too present. Ill be here tomorrow. Please stay here with me.

no shit sherlock same as women that can't get abortions and queer people or people of color. we've always existed, we will always exist. that our existence is actually living or merely surviving, that's what is at stake

*doom music starts to play* I actually kindof like scheduling these kinds of appointments now...

this has been a psa

i've had this as an idea since 2017 btw

damn, tumblr says my art is ass and trans people is eye strain so no blaze for me :\

it'd be a shame if this...

blazed the old fashion way...

Today I want to give love to dysphoric salmacians.

The ones who felt/feel like something is missing from them because they don't have both parts.

The ones who spent hours Googling intersex variations as a teen because you wondered if that was why everything felt so wrong.

The ones who can't speak about their desired configuration for fear of being called a freak at best, or a fetishizer at worst.

The ones who get accused of having a "(redacted) fetish gone too far."

The ones who can only feel seen in fanfiction because no one is ready to have conversations about your identity yet.

The ones who get told you are responsible for the increase and trans/queerphobia because you're too "weird".

The ones who get told you don't know what you're talking about, that no one actually wants that body.

The ones who get told you have no right to want this body because those who do are often abused as children, by their parents and doctors alike.

The ones who feel sick sometimes looking at your single genitalia.

The ones who are too ashamed to tell anyone just how miserable your body makes you.

The ones who scrambled for some way, any way, to describe your experience and feelings, only to be met with a deluge of hate in the tags we use.

You matter. Your story matters. Your identity isn't taking anything away from anyone. Only you know what your body is supposed to be, and no one else can say otherwise.

I'm sorry you've been hurting too. It will get better. The way that happens is by continuing to talk about it, who we are and what we've lived, even when people within our own community try to silence us.

Don't be silent. Your story deserves to live outside of you too. Because one day your story might find someone else and give them the courage to join us, too.

Keep strong. Do whatever it takes to reduce the dysphoria. Whether that's HRT microdosing, surgery, no medical interventions at all, or something else entirely. You deserve a body you'll feel happy in, too.

You are just as much a part of the trans community as anyone else. You belong. You matter. WE matter.

Concept: A gender reveal party but AFTER the kid is born.

Like when the kid is 6 or 12 or 18 or 24. When the kid has decided what their gender is or isn’t.

Found a cool app that can help you train your voice

It’s free

Just an important note, pitch isn't everything (and can be detrimental to focus on too much). SUPER IMPORTANT TO NOTE: if your voice ever hurts while training, stop. Whatever you're doing is going to hurt you if you keep it up. Figure out what aspect of your training is causing the problem and change it.

Another good resource to look at would be transvoicelessons on YouTube (https://youtube.com/@TransVoiceLessons?si=cjKqIqtB2RGJIZ2q).

From my own personal experience, singing along to songs and trying to match the singer can be a super helpful exercise to help train your voice. I also try to sing other songs in a more feminine tone as practice too. If you have trouble listening to your own voice, especially when starting out, playing the music louder could help, but may also make it a bit harder to know if you're adjusting your voice how you'd like.

And lastly, make sure to keep practicing. Keeping up with practice makes it easier to use the voice you want and helps stop your voice from back tracking in progress. Stick to it long enough and your voice can potentially default to somewhere you may like even when you're not consciously doing anything.

Practicing can suck, but I promise you with enough effort and time, you can shape your voice pretty much however you like. (Though effort and time scales directly with the degree of change desired)

and look, if your voice don't pass don't worry too much anyway. there are a lot of cis men and women whose voices aren't really "masculine" or "feminine"

also if trans people who don't care about this didn't exist i wouldn't listen to one of my favorite artists villana amo tu música y TU VOZ JODER

[ID: Tweet from user ErinInTheMorn which reads:

I often get asked by trans people and parents, "Where should I flee? Am I safe?" I have continually updated an anti-trans legislative risk map to answer that question. This latest update accounts for all recent bills. Subscribe to support my work.

Then a map graphic showing the risk factor for trans people in each state in the US. I won't list all the information because they are described and with more detail on the actual website and I would probably get the state names wrong. End ID.]

[ID: More up-to-date version of the graphic. It's worse. It's mostly worse y'all. (a couple states have moved from "low risk within 2 years" to "safest states with protections" categories though so that at least is good.) End ID.]

i checked just to be sure and yeah
