Just a little practice before starting on my work again :D I wanted to draw an older looking Annabeth, but she looks a bit more like her mom, Athena. (Well, now I know where she got her looks, I guess.)

Is that a doctor’s coat? I guess so. Sorry not sorry.

Here’s a Willabeth version of the New Year’s kisses! I did blue for them this time :D 

I’m a little hesitant to post this because this is seriously supposed to be just a doodle and I don’t know what came over me to do this. LOL //nervous laughter// 

The pairing is a little “non-mainstream” but I kinda love the dynamics of this pair, so I’m just gonna have some Willabeth to keep me going. Marking this as NSFW.

So a pairing that isn’t mainstream, huh? Hmmm... I have to say that this pairing isn’t really that known (or probably even made up by me and @geexao), but if there’s one pairing that really got my heart beating like crazy, it’ll be Willabeth. 

Okay, before you get all hot and “WTF?!” on me, let me explain. Actually there are a lot of reasons why we considered this pairing as plausible and highly possible, but here’s the top 5: 

1.) Will is a doctor, Annabeth is an architect. If we have to match them up together (intelligence-wise) these two would be an unstoppable pair. Also, while I get it that Percabeth is the dynamic duo of the series, I kind of get the idea that it must be so tiring for Annabeth to keep explaining stuff again and again (whoa, whoa, whoa. I’m not saying that Percy is stupid. No that’s my baby you’re talking about. It’s just that.. how do I explain it? They’re a little ways off the intelligence spectrum? Annabeth is book smart. Percy is street smart.)

2.) If there’s someone who could potentially match up to Annabeth, it’ll be Will. Sass-wise or even as I have said, intelligence-wise. Come on, if Annabeth pulls a joke about Apollo’s Belt, Will might be the only one who will laugh at it because it’s a medical term. And pardon the pun... they have chemistry.

3.) Will and Annabeth are found together in The Lost Hero. If I remember correctly, most people are scared of talking back to Annabeth because (duh, head councilor of Athena. A-T-H-E-N-A. Who wouldn’t be scared to talk back to a child of Athena? They’re the gods of debate and god-like reasoning.) ... and what do we have in that scene? Will, telling Annabeth that she could borrow the chariot, not break it. Not only is Will talking back to Annabeth, HE’S REPRIMANDING HER!

4.) There’s a possibility that aside from doing his duties as the camp medic, Will might have been the first one to volunteer in healing Annabeth way way back in TLO. He was described to have gone pale and sweaty because of his efforts in healing her (which could mean that while it would have been too difficult for him to heal the extent of her wound that time, he kept pushing on. for Annabeth.) only to step back when he saw Percy because he knew that the two were “almost” together. I sense an unrequited love here, people.

5.) No hate for the Solangelo or the Percabeth pair, but since it has only been implied and not canonized that Solangelo is an official couple, maybe Uncle Rick put Will and Nico together so they could heal together because Nico is to Percy... while Will is to Annabeth. 

BONUS:

They’re just adorable. Annabeth is an independent woman, Will is a healer, therefore it comes in naturally for him to care for others. It’ll be awesome and adorable if the two get together. 

And they’ll probably be like that (in the illustration) often.
