On the summit of Saint Helens looking east towards Mount Adams. The fellow climber here gives a nice sense of scale. He’s about 100 feet away from me whereas Mount Adams is about 35 miles away.

This is shot from the summit of Mount Saint Helens looking into the volcano's crater. I’ve climbed taller mountains than Saint Helens, but still I consider this one of the toughest. Think climbing up 12000 stairs covered in soft sand with 20 pounds on your back. Totally worth it for the view though.
