Triple Iono comics!
It's always disappointing when a series makes a big deal about societal and structural problems in it's setting, making readers think it has interesting things to say about the subject, only to then resolve the problems by fighting The CEO of Racism, John Racist, so that all of society's problems would then get better because they promoted a new CEO.
periodic reminder that it costs zero dollars and zero cents to not use the words psychotic, psycho, schizophrenic, schizo, insane, or delusional to mean derogatory things
no, that alt right person is not “psychotic” for being racist and having racist beliefs. you can be racist without having psychosis. it’s not mental illness causing these beliefs, it’s just hatred and bigotry.
no, that person advocating to repeal the medical rights of trans people is not “delusional/deluded”. you can be transphobic without experiencing delusions. it’s not a mental illness that causes these beliefs, it’s just hatred and bigotry.
no, that person supporting israel is not “insane” for justifying and supporting genocide. you can support genocide without having a severe mental illness. it’s not mental illness that causes these beliefs, it’s cruelty and hatred.
just find a different word. it is not that difficult. what IS difficult is living with psychosis, especially when it is stigmatized day in and day out. when we equate medical conditions with moral standing or worth, that’s eugenics.
i wish nothing but peace and love on everyone including those who have used these terms in the past, present and future, but i am tired.
there are so many good posts making good points that fall short because they use terms relating to psychosis to indicate moral failing.
psychosis. is. not. morally. corrupt.
STOP equating psychosis with bigotry, hatred, and cruelty.
note. people without psychotic symptoms are encouraged to reblog this. i am not going to do more than my share of the work to educate non-psychotics when i’m struggling with my own symptoms. thank you.
bringing this back because thanks to the election i have seen a metric shit ton of posts calling people who voted for trump [insert assorted ableist terms here]
it is not mental illness (specifically psychosis) that caused people to vote for trump. i am psychotic and i did not vote for him. it is not psychosis that caused his supporters to vote for him. it is bigotry.
oh, to be a human turned into a pokemon against my will and have a complicated relationship where memory issues are involved with my green ex-partner pokémon.
getting 0 notes on one of your posts that you personally thought was clever/funny
Yesterday I had been feeling so horribly depressed furious and irritable all day that I saw no possible relief for the bottomless pit of existential agony within me. Then I went into the kitchen, poured all that remained of a one pound box of pasta into a pot (over half, around five servings) cooked it, dumped mozzarella cheese over it, and sitting at my desk ate nearly all of it in the span of 15 minutes, finishing what was left a short half-hour later. I felt almost immediately restored and so sleepy that I dozed off at 9:45 pm before getting up around 10:30 to brush my teeth
I think potentially there is something to be understood from this
When you hate everyone: eat something
When you think everyone hates you: go to sleep
When you hate yourself: take a shower
has anyone noticed that working for a living sucks ass
I've been busy with some music, and kabuto wanted to help ^^ (not sure if he's mimicking me, or just likes watching the leds pulse)

any more good news? Tumblr is my only source of news lol.
Sure thing! Here’s some more positive news:
Dems have continued gaining seats in the House and Senate. House so far is 207 (D) - 216 (R) with 218 needed for majority. Senate is 47 (D) - 53 (R) with 50 needed for majority. Despite Republicans leading, the more even split will make it easier for Dems to block bills and legislation.
State Senator Sarah McBride became the first openly transgender candidate elected to Congress by winning Delaware’s only House seat.
The House just rejected a bill that could have given the Trump administration the power to stifle free speech, target political opponents, and punish groups that disagree with them. This is a victory for all our right to speak truth to power.
A federal court blocked a Louisiana law requiring public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom, ruling the law is unconstitutional. This is a victory for religious freedom.
Multiple states such as California, New York, and Illinois have come forward to enshrine rights and protections while making additional efforts to block actions Trump may pull.
Some of these rights include:
- New York enforced protections for LGBTQ+ individuals into law, officially banning discrimination against LGBTQ+ people
- Illinois has enshrined reproductive rights.
- Illinois has reaffirmed labor rights.
- Illinois has raised the wage.
- California police will block any attempts by Donald Trump to restrict abortion rights for women within the state.
- California is also working on putting protections for LGBTQ+ people into law and banning discrimination
ExxonMobil just announced they will oppose Donald Trump’s plans to pull out of the Paris climate agreement. It’s truly crazy when an oil giant has to say, “no, your plans are actually too bad for the environment.”
Trump has his sentencing in New York coming up for his 34 felonies. The court has no intention of dropping the case despite him being President-elect.
Trump allies and insurrectionists face sentencing in Arizona.
Elon Musk is facing a class action lawsuit out of Texas, where voters are claiming they got played. Turns out, that so-called "random" $1 million giveaway wasn’t random at all—winners were reportedly handpicked. And here’s the kicker: everyone who entered handed over their personal information, only for it to allegedly end up fueling Musk’s political agenda and personal interests.
On top of that, Musk also faces the possibility of getting deported for lying on immigration forms. He launched his career working illegally in the U.S.
Somewhat funny: Elon Musk is getting flamed after Grok, X’s A.I. chatbot, admits Musk is “a significant spreader of misinformation.”
In-fighting seems to be brewing within the Republican Party as they are increasingly more upset by the appointments Trump is making to his cabinet. These appointments don’t necessarily mean they’ll serve because they have to approved by congress. I personally hope they all kill each other though.

Listen buddy, they won’t even let me comprehend it.
why is the human body composed of such capricious tubes
i cannot hate myself into a version of me i will love.
i cannot punish myself in any way that will unmake the past.
