(I don't know if anyone did this before but... I was inspired)
Zoya: We don't talk about Brekker, no, no, no
We don't talk about Brekker, but...
It was my wedding day...
Nikolai: It was our wedding day!
Zoya: We were getting ready
And there wasn't a cloud in the sky!
Nikolai: No clouds allowed in the sky!
Zoya: Brekker walks in with a mischievous grin...
Nikolai: Thunder!
Zoya: You're telling the story or am I?
Nikolai: I'm sorry, my love, please go on!
Zoya: Brekker says, "It looks like rain"
Nikolai: Why did he tell us?
Zoya: In doing so, he floods my brain...
Nikolai: Genya get the umbrellas!
Zoya: Married in a hurricane!
Nikolai: What a joyous day but anyway...
Both: We don't talk about Brekker, no, no, no
We don't talk about Brekker!
Jesper: Hey, grew to live annoyed by Kaz counting kruge and grumbling,
I can always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling,
I associate him with the sound of falling sand, ch-ch-ch!
It's a heavy weight the past he is carrying,
Always left the Dregs and the whole crew fumbling,
Grappling with suicidal plans we couldn't understand
Do you understand?
Matthias: A six-foot frame, crows along his back,
When he calls your name it all fades to black!

Rollins: He told me my empire would fall, the next day, doomed!

Im wondering... How would the Crows weddings look like?

Kaz would be super angsty about it at first and then he'd see Inej and be like "okayyy fine" and then put like an insane amount of work in

Matthias would pretend that he is not invested but would have a secret wedding planner for YEARS (like the one Monica in friends has). Nina would tease him about it and definitely change some things (no ugly sweaters or furs) but find it useful at the end.

What do the Crows wear to sleep, and what position do they sleep in?

Matthias: Long sleeve pajama shirt and pants like a fucking weirdo. Sleeps on his back with his legs together and arms at his sides.
Inej: Shorts and a tank top, maybe a favorite sweatshirt if it's cold enough. Sleeps on her side, curled up a bit with her arms crossed and maybe one leg sticking out at a weird angle.
Wylan: T-shirt he stole from Jesper and nothing else. Starts the night off curled up in a ball on his side and wakes up face-down hanging halfway off the bed.
Jesper: Underwear only. Usually sleeps on his back but somehow always ends up spooning Wylan.
Nina: Completely naked. Sleeps on either her back or face down depending on the night but always sprawls out to occupy as much space as humanly possible. Snores incredibly loud.
Kaz: No time for pajamas, falls asleep instantly upon contact with the mattress or nearest horizontal surface. Can and will sleep in jeans. Falls asleep in such weird and inconsistent positions and is so silent and still that Inej constantly has to check to make sure he's still alive. Sometimes she's not sure that he is.

Mid-Week Roundup!

Welcome to the mid-week roundup! This week we have two fics to highlight from prompt #10--if you're going to sin, you might as well be original.

Troubles by Lynn_Forster Three moments where we see the Crows dealing with their troublemaker kids.

In the first one, Wylan and Jesper are reprimanding (or, at least, trying to reprimand) their adoptove daughter, Lian, who made a little mess during a business meeting.

In the second, Nina and Matthias' youngest daughter, Noëlle, decides to have an afternoon snack with waffles that were meant to be for someone else.

In the third, Kaz and Inej's adoptive son, Adhyan, plays his father a prank.

An Unexpected Conversation by Sarai Very early in his reign, Nikolai visits the royal chapel on a restless night. He's surprised to find it occupied by Genya Safin and takes the chance for a personal conversation.

Is anyone surprised to see the Crows' kids being little troublemakers? Me neither ;)

Helnik: Matthias would lie on that long part of the sectional couch with his hands by his sides like a freak- Nina pretends to be asleep all cute with her head on his shoulder, but when she actually falls asleep that bitch is on t o p of him. Matthias is unable to stand without physically lifting Nina, which he is unwilling to do. Will sleep all night on the couch with Nina on top of him. Matthias is bed bed is Matthias
Wesper: Wylan always falls asleep almost immediately with his head on Jesper's shoulder, hugging his arm and all that. Jesper is delighted by this, will snuggle him back, give many forehead kisses etc. If Wylan is still asleep by the end of the movie, Jesper will carry him back to his room.
Kanej: Kaz sits stiff as a board every time. When he falls asleep he does not move from this position. Inej is the only one who can tell when he's asleep, and will very gently rest her head on his shoulder and put her fingers against his. When Kaz wakes up with Inej on his shoulder he pretends to still be sleeping, but Inej can always tell when he wakes up.

Mid-week Roundup

This week’s roundup is still prompt #5 due to my technical difficulties this weekend; thank you all for being understanding! And we have two new fics to highlight, so…

Waiting for Inej by Lynn_Forster Inej is sailing back to Ketterdam. Three short, small moments that portray her friends and her boyfriend, now reunited, while waiting for her.

The sharpshooter and his engineer on holiday by Sarai Jesper, Wylan, and Marya take a holiday to the Hendriks lake house. Things might be a little slow, but Jesper can’t imagine a better companion than his brilliant, grease-streaked boyfriend. Wylan, however, would disagree. Jesper thinks his boyfriend is the best? Hah! He should see Wylan’s boyfriend! He’s got a smile brighter than sunshine. Jesper and Wylan are very happy, a little silly, and extremely in love.

Submissions are still open until Saturday night if anyone else wants to jump in, and the next prompt will be available on Sunday! This prompt is going to be a little different and I hope you all like it :)
