the most amazing thing about avatar the last airbender is that it exists. fucking nickelodeon really dropped that shit in 2005, right alongside spongebob and catscratch, and save for the legend of korra which is the direct sequel, has never been able to replicate anything like it since. no one has been able to replicate anything like it ever since. they really took the crew of invader zim, looking for work now that the show was cancelled, and said alright boys we're gonna make THIS now. in the early 2000s. cranked out what is widely considered to be one of the best animated shows of all time in about three years and then left it at that. so yeah no wonder no one has been able to shut up about avatar ever since.

He just respects women in general. He shares his admiration and love for his mom quite often. With her raising him, I'm sure she taught him that respect towards females. I hope more men are taught that respect and can start seeing females as equals, especially in Hollywood. I'm glad it's starting to happen.

  • his inner dialogue was just:

  • he proved himself right when his voice cracked and he would’ve nosedived off that stage immediately if he hadn’t been blinded by his tears

  • an hour after the encore and they’re in the car driving back to the dorms ? TEARS 
  • renjun just disconnects from everyone as he silently cries, watching the cars roll by 
  • IT’S SO CUTE AND SAD ALL AT THE SAME TIME

  • he’s just a teenager and he’s worked his ass off to be where he is today,,,, 
  • he moved away from his family to be in korea and train and,,, he’s,,,, he’s made it bois,,,,,,,,,,,
  • HOW COULD HE NOT CRY
  • (renjun, texting his mom on wechat, furiously rubbing his eyes to stop the tears) “MOM DID U SEE ME ON TV”
  • look, mark is oblivious ok, but he’s not that oblivious
  • so when they got into the car, of course he made sure to get the seat beside renjun (even if it meant,,, he had 2 sit in the middle seat,,,, the worst seat,,,,,)
  • and when renjun looked like he was beginning to sob again, mark would nudge him gently and offer a small smile 
  • A SMALL GESTURE BUT IT MADE RENJUN’S HEART GO HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ;;;;;;;;
  • mark would show renjun memes and pics of moomin on his phone every 10 seconds and eventually, renjun would get tired of having to turn his head from the window to mark all the time, so he’d just rest his head on mark’s shoulder to watch him scroll 
  • when they ;;; got back to the dorms ;;;;; when all the dreamies went to pass out in their rooms bc it was like 11 ;;;;; renjun grabbed mark’s shirt sleeve and asked:
  • “,,, do u have anymore moomin pics (◕︵◕)”
  • MAYHAPS MARK DID NOT, BUT HE SURE AS HELL IS GOING TO GO ON EVERY MOOMIN FAN ACCOUNT AND SHOW RENJUN ALL THE PICS OF HIS FAVE ;;;;;;;

Sometimes I’m like “kdramas aren’t THAT over the top and absurd. like, Winter Sonata is pretty tame”

and then I remember that Winter Sonata is about a girl who has a high school sweetheart that gets hit with a car and dies and then ten years later she sees another dude who looks exactly like him but is not him because he’s some hotshot architect from America but then they fall in love anyway and then he realizes that HE IS the sweetheart but his mom took him to America when he was still in a coma and pretended he grew up there because he was a moody fucker who hated her for never talking about his dad or who his dad was and she changed his back story so he wouldn’t hate her all the time for not talking about his dad

Well jokes on her because he has returned to being moody fucker and figures out who his dad is and then he finds out that he is the half brother to the main character which gives him EVEN MORE ANGST

However, he TRIES TO MARRY HER ANYWAY

But then we find out that they’re NOT SIBLINGS he’s actually the half brother of the guy who hates him for taking his fiancee/main character away

But it’s too late because he tried to do fucked up shit and he’s moody fucker now so he runs away and then goes blind for some reason and the show ends with her finding him and he’s blind I guess I don’t remember why or how and HOW DID I EVER THINK THIS SHOW WAS SENSIBLE
