Oh shit. Did I just find TWO new things that make me really really excited about music again?! Damn.
Prince of Spain is actually fucking incredible. Like, wow. I didn't really like their newer releases under The Scene Aesthetic... I just wasn't connecting. But these songs, wow. They have grown SO MUCH. Andrew's voice is awesome. Eric's voice is awesome. The music is great. I'm so excited and glad. Wow. One of my favorite bands from 2006-2008 is BACK and awesome. Like, I feel it. Which doesn't happen very often, once I STOP feelng it... you know?
And fucking Tym. Tym has one of my favorite voices of the last few years. I am STILL sad about Daytrader breaking up. But as long as his voice is out there singin' shit that I get to listen to, I'm good. The song at that link is so poppy and wonderful, ah!! I love it!!!
Wow, so excited. Like, there are still things I love. I still love the fuckin' brits and Able Bodies is STILL such a jam, and I'm insanely excited to see Real Friends. But those are all things I've been listening to for a year. So new stuff that is getting my bones shaking is a rare and beautiful thing these days. I've been waiting for something like this.
