I... I don’t know what this is, but I like it??
The Imaginary Friend (Chapter 6)
A/N: This is literally my least favorite chapter I’ve ever written and I’m sorry for that. I swear it’ll get better. Today was just really tough for me.
“Chuck, Chuck, open your door!” I yelled, pounding my fist against it. It was the early hours of the morning and I had driven all night to get to Chuck’s. However, he wouldn’t open his door.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess.
“CHUCK. OPEN YOUR DOOR OR I’M COMING IN.”
A thump was heard from behind the door. Dammit he was passed out on the couch. I kept slamming my fist on the door.
“CHUCK.” As Chuck realized it was me I could hear him jump up and run to the door.
“Range?!” asked Chuck as he opened the door. I pushed passed him, walking towards the living room. I started pacing up and down. I didn’t even know what to say.
“You’re- you’re not supposed to be here. This isn’t what I saw. What are you doing here?” asked Chuck.
“All that stuff. About the future. All that stuff about the future you couldn’t tell me about.”
Chuck nodded, waiting for me to go on. He took a sip of a water bottle that was sitting on the table in front of him.
“Is Lilith the final seal?” I asked. Chuck spit out his water.
“How- what? What are you talking about?” asked Chuck, nervously.
“Tell me the damn truth.”
Chuck nodded. “How did you know?” he asked. I sighed and sat down on the couch, putting my head in my hands.
“Another vision?” asked Chuck. He sat down beside me, setting his hand on my back.
“What the hell’s going on?”

Dean stood pacing in the “green room.” He’d barely been there for an hour and he was already done with the place. Plus, he had no idea where Ranger was.
“You asked to see me?”
Dean jumped and turned around. Castiel stood, facing him.
“Yeah, listen, I, uh, I-I need something.” said Dean, stuttering.
“Anything you wish.”
“I need you to take me to see Sam.” said Dean
“Why?” asked Cas.
“There’s something I got to talk to him about.”
“What’s that?” asked Castiel, obviously not going to let Dean see his younger brother.
“The B.M. I took this morning.” said Dean, sarcastically. “What’s it to you? Just make it snappy.”
“I don’t think that’s wise.”
“Well, I didn’t ask for your opinion.” said Dean.
“Have you forgotten what happened the last time you and Ranger met with your brother?” asked Castiel.
With the sudden mention of sister, Dean remembered that he hadn’t seen her for hours. He had no idea where she was and he had stupidly forgotten about her.
“Dammit.” whispered Dean to himself. Castiel gave him a questioning look, but he just moved on.
“No. That’s the whole point. Listen, I’m gonna do whatever you mooks want, okay? I just need to tie up this one thing. Five minutes- that’ all I need.”
“No.”
“What do you mean no? Are you saying that I’m trapped here?” asked Dean, annoyed.
“You can go wherever you want.”
“Super. I want to go see Sam.”
“Except there.” said Cas.
“I want to take a walk.” said Dean.
“Fine. I’ll go with you.”
“Alone.”
“No.” said Castiel.
“God dammit…” said Dean. He turned around and paced, the frustration pouring out of him.
“Do you know where your sister is?” asked Castiel.
“Ranger? No. I don’t. Why don’t you just use your stupid angel mojo to find her?” asked Dean.
Castiel turned away from Dean.
“Cas. What aren’t you telling me.”
“We can’t find her. It’s like she’s warded against everything, even angels. Zachariah’s been on her for months, trying to figure her out.”
“God dammit.” said Dean.
Dean went over and slammed his fist against the wall.
“You know what? Screw this noise. I’m out of here.” Dean started walking and heading for the door.
“Through what door?” asked Castiel.
Dean turned to face the angel, confused. He turned back around and the door was gone. The flutter of angel wings was heard from behind.

“Give me a damn minute, Ruby!” said Sam. Sam and Ruby stood in front of St. Mary’s Convent with a look of confliction laid upon his face.
“Better think fast.”
Sam pulled out his cell phone, looking again at the two missed messages from his stranded siblings. He pressed a button, playing Rangers.
“Sam. Please, pick up. I need to talk to you. Look, don’t do it. Just don’t do it. Meet me at Chuck’s, we’ll explain everything.” said Ranger over the phone.
Sam clicked the delete button before the rest of the message could be played. He couldn’t handle his sister trying to talk to him now. He clicked for Dean’s message to play.
“Listen to me, you bloodsucking freak. Dad always said I’d either have to have you or kill you. Well, I’m giving you fair warning. I’m done trying to save you. You’re a monster, Sam- a vampire. You’re not you anymore. And there’s no going back.”
Close to tears, Sam turned around to face the demon.
“Do it.” said Sam.
“Thank god.”

Dean stood in the green room, getting more and more frustrated by the minute. All of a sudden, Castiel appeared beside him, slamming him against the wall. Cas laid a hand over his mouth, shushing him. Dean nodded, completely understanding.
Removing his hand, Castiel cut a strip down his arm. He started to draw something on the wall with his blood.
“Castiel! Would you mind explaining just what the hell you’re doing?” asked Zachariah, appearing at the sidelines.
Cas finished drawing and slammed his hand at the center of the sigil. Zachariah vanished.
“He won’t be gone long. We have to find Sam now.”
“Where is he?” asked Dean.
“I don’t know. But I know who does. We have to stop him, Dean, from killing Lilith.” said Castiel.
“But Lilith’s gonna break the final seal.”
“Lilith is the final seal. She dies, the end begins.”
