“You know these are nothing like the original stories, right?” Lucifer asked, watching the brightly colored cartoon princess dance across the screen, singing some jaunty little tune.
“I mean, the original stories were much darker. Lots of death and body disfiguring.”
“These are bastardizations. Sure, the drawings are cute and the songs… well, I’m sure I’ll be humming them for weeks to come, but–”
“Lucifer,” you said, looking up at him. “Shut up.”
Lucifer pursed his lips but turned his attention once more to the television. He’d agreed to have a movie marathon with you today and you’d decided to introduce him to one of your favorite genres—Disney. You decided to start with the princess movies: Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Brave. You promised him that there were others (The Lion King, Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, Hercules, Star Wars) that he might like better, but you wanted to watch these first.
It was late when the final credits rolled on your last film. You sat up and stretched, your back popping.
“Well, what’d you think?”
Lucifer was quiet for a moment. “They were… cute.”
You smiled. “And which princess is your favorite?”
“That red-headed one. Scottish. Meredith?”
“Merida,” you gently corrected. You weren’t surprised that his favorite had been the spunkiest of the princesses. Plus the fact that there weren’t any big musical numbers…
You leaned over and wrapped your arms around Lucifer.
“What’s this for?” he asked.
“Thank you for watching these movies with me. I know you probably hated it.”
Lucifer chuckled. “It… wasn’t my first choice. But they really weren’t that bad. Besides, the fact that you like them is enough for me to enjoy them.”
“So…. Do you want to watch some more tomorrow?”

Everyone had noticed the amount of Disney references that had made their way into Lucifer’s daily language. His brothers had teased him at first but they stopped after a few punches to the nose.
“We only tease because we think it’s cute,” Gabriel said, snapping his fingers and fixing his cartilage. “Who knew big, bad Luci would be a fan of cartoons?”
“It made Y/N happy to share such a big part of herself with me. You’d understand if you had someone special in your life,” Lucifer retorted.
“So does that mean you’re her Prince Charming?” Gabriel asked. “She’s your Cinderella? Snow White? Sleeping Beauty?”
“Aurora’s prince was named Phillip, not Charming.”
As annoying as Gabriel was, he sparked an idea in Lucifer’s mind. He explained it to you one afternoon and you practically exploded with excitement.

Everyone gathered in the bunker on Christmas morning: Cas, Gabriel, and Balthazar sitting on one couch, Sam sitting in the big leather chair, you and Lucifer sitting on the loveseat. Dean walked in and handed mugs of coffee to his brother and to you before plopping down on the floor. Gifts were exchanged, wrapping paper strewn around the room.
Once everything had been unwrapped, Lucifer stood and pulled out four thin, rectangular packages. He handed one to each of his brothers and one to Sam, even though the tag read that it was for both of the Winchesters.
“What’s this?” Balthazar asked.
“Just something Y/N and I threw together.”
“Are we supposed to open these simultaneously?” Gabriel asked. “On the count of three?”
The men tore into the paper, pulling out the calendars. You and Lucifer watched as they flipped through, examining the pictures.
“You guys did a calendar?” Gabriel asked.
“Why are you dressed like this?” Cas asked.
“It’s a Disney calendar,” Sam said, a small smile on his face. “Look, that’s them dressed like Snow White and her prince. And then there’s Cinderella and her prince, Sleeping Beauty and hers.”
“Are you two dressed up like lions?” Dean asked.
“Holy crap,” Gabriel said. “You two are certainly in deep, aren’t you?”
“Lucifer thought of it on his own,” you said proudly. “And he was able to use his abilities to get us those costumes.”
“Straight from Disney headquarters,” Lucifer said with a smirk.
“I wish I could have kept one. Those dresses were beautiful.”
Lucifer said nothing as he pulled another box out from behind the couch. He placed it on your lap, encouraging you to open it.
You pulled the ribbon from the box and lifted the lid. “Lucifer!”
Inside the box lay one of the dresses from the photo shoot, the one from your favorite princess. You pulled it out, your eyes travelling over the fabric, noticing the little details.
“Do you like it?” Lucifer asked.
“Oh, Lucifer, it’s beautiful!”
“Anything for my Princess.”
