Silver: Gray, knock off that racket!
Gray: But Dad, I’m supposed to practice an hour a day!
Silver: I’ll practice you!
Gray: You’ll practice me? What does that mean? Is it supposed to be some sort of a threat? (walks away)
Silver: Gray, Natsu, what did you two learn in Sunday School today?
Gray: The answers to deep theological questions.
Natsu: Yeah, among other things, apes can’t get into heaven.
Gildarts: What? Those cute little monkeys? That’s terrible. Who told you that?
Natsu: Our teacher.
Gildarts: I can understand how they wouldn’t let in those wild jungle apes, but what about those really smart ones who live among us? Who roller-stake and smoke cigars?
Silver: There is no escape. Don’t make me destroy you. Gray, you do not yet realize your importance. You’ve only begun to discover your power! Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict, and bring order to the galaxy.
Gray: (angrily) I’ll never join you!
Silver: If only you knew the power of the Dark Side. Your master never told you what happened to your father.
Gray: She told me enough! She told me you killed him!
Silver: No, I am your father.
Gray: (shocked) No, no! That’s not true! That’s impossible!
Silver: Search your feelings; you know it to be true!
Gray: NOOO! NOOOOOO!!
Silver: Gray, you can destroy END. He has foreseen this. It is your destiny! Join me, and together, we can rule the galaxy as father and son! Come with me. It is the only way.
