“I’m just Ken” and “Peaches” was nominated for best original song for the Golden Globe 2024 awards and I laughed when I first saw it. We are certainly living in a good timeline.

before i go to bed have this little thing i thought of a while ago, also my art of it (i posted it on my instagram but my insta is privated)
so i was rewatching the mario movie and got to the scene where mario said maybe peach is from his world, and i thought about luigi’s flashback. it could be possible that peach was actually from brooklyn specifically, and played in that same playground as the bros. i know it’s like super unlikely and 100x more probable that she’s from literally anywhere else on the planet,, buti just like to think maybe mario, luigi and peach played together like once like 20 years ago before she stumbled into the mushroom kingdom.
Rewatched the Mario Bros movie on Friday and felt like doodling post stuff again.
Something cute, something funny, something amusing (and I bet Donkey Kong is going to have some questions about any Kongs having been to NY before) and something small in light of Charles Martinet retiring.

The synchronization between these two is immaculate???? Like look at them goooo, look at how in sync they are throughout this fight and the fight with Bowser’s army too. They are a two person army, they are a force to be reckoned with.
They are one unite working in perfect harmony and it’s all because they are working together as a team and as family.
100% serious when I say they’ve opened the perfect opportunity for another Mario Cartoon. The characters in the movie are just too interesting and expandable for their potential to be fully realized in movies alone. And with this art style it could be extremely well received 🤷🏾♂️
Ok, Luigi has every right to look upset.
But Mario looks like he wants to skin Bowser alive and throw him in acid.
After all the unforgivable shit that Bowser put him through, Luigi is traumatized, the poor guy almost died, Luigi is angry, angry but determined.
Mario is enraged, he’s furious, he’s out for blood against this giant turtle for almost killing his baby brother and hurting his friends and homeworld.
This super punch is personal for both of them, it shows the differences in both their anger/rage towards Bowser perfectly, and I love it.
