daydreaming until my brain hurts

Did a little more of this since the first drawings were well liked.

For those who don't know HM lore, here is who is who:

-Edith and Krupp are the bride (a combo of the original beating heart bride and Melanie from Phantom Manor) and the hatbox ghost

-Grace wain is Madame Leota

-Creepily Rattlechians (remember that guy from the halloween special) is the Ghost Host

--Cash Networth is the Mariner/Captain (who I guess is more well known in the Orlando version and I think appeared in the recent film)

-Ree and his brother are the dueling ghosts.

-And poor Jerry is the gaveyard groundskeeper.

@warrior-of-waistbands. I was listening to this song today and realized that I could see that one scene from A Goofy Movie play out in your au. I had to get it out of my system.

(Also, I feel like–unlike the film–the principal and VP would just let the whole thing play out because they are impressed and amused by it.)

Haha yes that episode would be different if Krupp was interested in someone else. But at least Yewh wouldn’t have to deal with the discomfort that came from that interaction.

Also the boys would still go for that TP goal, which annoys Krupp because it’s a waste of school money AND it’s a hassle to have cleaned up. He makes sure that they have to help Ree over it even when he’s CU and reminding them mid-battle.

I also imagine Ree knows Krupp’s secret, but he acts like he doesn’t know. (Also the military/science group he was a part of may of had an interest in CU but he didn’t turn CU in since he realized what CU was capable of and was a nice guy to begin with.) He still teases him but he’s a lot more good natured about it. Krupp would be a bit uneasy around Ree since Ree is smarter than most of the staff, but it’s also why he keeps him around, given how most of the staff aren’t as level headed in emergencies.

And of course the boys have to act like they don’t know anything about Krupp around Ree.

Since it came in second place on that pole, I revisited that Corpse Bride AU next... which I haven’t touched since 2017/2018. This time I tried going for a more accurate version of the story, and actually have CU and Krupp be separate people instead of being the same person due to some weird story plot. (And hey, unlike with Burton, this one features actual Jewish characters like in the original tale!)

I also benefit from coming back later and having more characters to use, as now nearly all the actual good adults are in the land of the dead.

I discussed this AU with @jackie-sugarskull but never got around to actually drawing it out or make doodles for it.

Basically the idea is that Captain Underpants IS real and that Krupp is his secret identity (and is actually smarter/nicer than in canon) since he crash landed on the Krupp farm. George and Harold are noe young fans of CU who had the luck of discovering their principal’s secret.

(Also there was a lot of ideas thrown out or exchanged so if you use the cu secret superhero au tag you’ll see how a lot of the stories and episodes changed in this AU)

The last batch of drawings were depressing... so here’s some of Krupp being one of those annoying/prideful/happy dad types. Because he strikes me as someone who’d be the kind if he HAD a child.

…..Maybe? both Jerry and Ree have appeared in my aus/aus I’ve co-created, but they’ve never been in the same exact one, let alone been an official pairing in them. (So far Ree has been in 3 AUs-two of which are co-created with other fellow CU fans and he’s got an important role in both of them (and he’s paired with Yewh in the Tangled AU sequel). Jerry was in the Pinocchio AU but he didn’t have a good fate in it…. nor was he one hundred percent LGBTQ at the time, if I remember correctly. Then again I think there was talk of him cameoing in the Beauty and the Beast AU. )
