    It was like an ongoing game, honestly.  For as lazy and sluggish as Dante made himself out to be, the man always had an amazing reaction time.  Case in point when you suddenly yanked the magazine off his face in the middle of a dead-sleep (you could tell by the way his body was sagging in the chair) and the bastard was tucking and rolling out of his sit almost instantly, leaving your finger to swipe nothing but air.  “Really?”  He sat up on the floor and ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his face, “Attacking me in my sleep?  That’s cheap, even for you.”

    “I’m going to get you,” you warned, much more ominously than necessary for the simple fact that you were only trying to poke him on the nose.

    Dante appreciated the theatrics, “Have you, oh I dunno, just tried asking?”

    “You want me to ask you.  To poke you on the nose.  When I’ve been making a sport out of it this whole time??”

    He shrugged, “You’ve literally tried everything else.”

    Your sigh was highly over exaggerated, “May I please poke your nose?”

    “Sure.”  You eyed him skeptically as he stood, habitually dusting himself off and waited for you to come to him.  “But,” Dante held up a finger to wag at you, “you can’t use your hands.”

    “..okay…”  This seemed like an obvious scheme, yet you were still intrigued; waiting for him to lean down on your level so you could aim the tip of your nose at his.  Predictably, at the last second, Dante turned his head, and your nose hit his cheek.  “Dante!”

    “What?  Thought I saw something, my bad.”  He reset his position.  Going for it again, you were still caught off guard when the devil hunter repeated the motion, “There it was again!”

    “Oh my god–” you clap your hands on either side of his head to force him to look at you only to be met with the shift of his head upward landing you a kiss on your own nose.  You don’t know why that caught you so off guard, but you stumbled back a step and covered your nose with your hand.

    “Told you.  You can’t use your hands,” Dante grinned, doing everything he could not to laugh at your reddening face.
