May I ask more of what happen after the main story of Man of Medan?**
Given the hour of the morning, the little restaurant was fairly quiet, the city around them only just beginning to wake up as they pushed what was left of their food around on their plates, saying nothing as the dishes and glasses piled up between them.
“Sooo...” Julia began, surprising none of them, “We just never talk about any of that again, or...that’s just it?”
“I mean, that’s pretty much how I’m voting - secret to the death,” Conrad finished what was left of his orange juice and nodded resolutely, “Yeah...I’ve always wanted to have the kind of secret I can like, only tell my great-great grandchildren about when I’m on my deathbed.”
“I just feel like we should tell someone, or...”
“Tell someone,” Fliss said, cutting Brad off before he could say whatever it was he’d meant to, “You think we should go tell someone about the secret, deadly bioweapon your government willingly killed people for so they could cover everything up and save their own skins.”
“Well...I mean...” she looked around the table at each of them in turn, brow furrowing as she realized none of them - not even Alex - were on her side, “...I mean someone should know, right?”
