“Quaritch is rolling the gunships, he’s going to hit Hometree.”

Trudy spoke out of breath due to running, holding her helmet.

You moved, standing up. “He can’t-“ What the hell?

“My God.” Grace says, before she sprints towards the control room, followed by you, Jake, and Norm.

“Dr. Augustine, you cannot be up here!” A guard says to her. You shoved him out of the way in frustration. “Back off.” You said, you weren’t about to let them destroy Hometree.

“Parker. Wait, stop. These are people you’re about to...” Grace said before the guard yanked at her again which made you angry, pushing him away from her. “I said back off.”

“No, no. They’re fly-bitten savages that live in a tree!” Parker says, pointing at Grace. “All right? Look around! I don’t know about you, but I see a lot of trees. They can move!”

“There are families in there. There are children in there. Babies. Are you gonna kill children?” You questioned. You were fuming as you stared Parker down.

“You don’t want that kind of blood on your hands. Believe me.” Jake said. “Just… let me try to talk them out. “They trust me.”

Parker looks at the three of you before he gives in.

“Calibrate fast. We’re going in, right now.” Grace commanded as the three of you along with Jake rushed towards the link units.

“Calibrating three, four, and five.” One said as you approached the link unit as it opened.

“Run sequence.”

“Initiating. Thirty seconds.”

You hopped on your link unit, placing the frame onto your body.

The last thing you see was Selfridge going to Jake, saying something to him as the unit closed.

Who would’ve thought that the mighty warrior Tsu’tey had finally gotten the courage to ask you out to go flying on your ikrans, at night?

Call it a date if you will, but in Tsu’tey’s words he just wanted to ‘have a break and spend some time with you’

For the past few months, Tsu’tey had shown interest in you, however, he still hasn’t asked you the question you were dying to hear.

You love the little trinkets and arm bands he gives you, and you absolutely love when he brings you a chunk of his hunt on some occasions, you preparing the food and ending up eating it together, just the two of you.

To the stray eyes of the people, they had assumed the two of you were a mated pair already.

Though, you still weren’t. You wanted to bring it up to him, but you were too shy, thinking that you didn’t want him to be pressured or such.

The thoughts plagued you every time he leaves your hut.

it’s baffling to me that no one missed or mentioned spider after he was kidnapped. not once. no “i wonder if he’s okay”, “hope he’s alright”, “wish spider was here to see all of this”. norm? max? no one asked about spider’s whereabouts or wondered? nope, the kid was straightout forgotten. jake asked if kiri missed spider once and that was it. and it’s more shocking that it’s apparently been months.

you’d think they don’t care at that point, excluding perhaps kiri and lo’ak. but you know who did? quaritch. he’s the one who stopped the scientists for further torturing him. he’s the one who kept him around instead of locking him in some room. he’s the one who presumably saved his life, assuming neytiri would’ve killed him.

“but he’s a murderer, spider saw what he did and he caused neteyam’s death!” “the sully is suppose to be his family, he betrayed them!” and yet, quaritch is the one who have apparently shown more parental affection than all of the adults around him combined. which makes it all the more tragic and conflicting for spider, doesn’t it? he probably hates it too, to have such a horrible person care for you, apparently more so than the people you want to save.

he is loyal to na’vi, but it just doesn’t help that the enemy they hate displayed more affection than jake and neytiri, does it?
