Tom Hiddleston is one of the most talented actors of his generation, and if you’re not quite convinced by that, then you had better check out his attempt at Shakespeare Charades, or ‘charadespeare’.

The actor was tagged by Donmar Warehouse’s artistic director Josie Rourke to take part in the new movement, and his attempt was genius.

The handsome Avengers actor, 35, first revealed he was acting out a Shakespeare play with a five-word title.

What followed was Oscar-worthy acting, conducted while trying to hold back his laughter.

It has to be seen to be believed – can you guess which Shakespeare play he was acting out?

Clue: one of the words involves an animal and his impression of said creature is unbelievably adorable and kind of realistic.

He then tagged stage actor Hadley Fraser to take part in the new trend, which is spreading like wildfire across Twitter in order to promote not-for-profit London theatre Donmar Warehouse’s new giveaway.

Called Young and Free, it is hosting a giveaway of tickets to people aged 25 and under every week for performances of the Shakespeare Trilogy.

Tom has a history with the theatre company, after starring in Shakespeare’s Coriolanus in 2013. He also appeared on the Donmar Warehouse stage earlier in his career as Cassio in Othello.
