How to interact with this blog: Pick a material/canon year for a Daisuke or V-mon, or check the "meet the Daisukes" tag and send us a question. If no Daisuke is specified, we will spin the "Wheel of Daisukes" and select one by random. But please keep it under the rules below ↓

Rules:

  • → NO BASHING/DUNKING ON ANY SERIES, OR CHARACTERS. Also I won't tolerate hateful comments.
  • → NO SHIP WARS. Yes, this blog is canon compliant so please, avoid asking about non-canon or if possible asking shipping at all.
  • I multiship Daisuke with a good chunk of characters (Miyako, Rui, Hikari, Ken, Takeru, Mimi, Wallace, Takuya and Takato) btw.
  • → I don't ship human/digimon and I might block if you ship it.
  • → Please don't send me requests to draw stuff. Some replies might have art! But if you just drop me something like "can you draw [insert here some prompt/idea]" i will immediately reply with my comm. price chart :) And no, I won't draw fetish art.
  • → Ah, I have so little to zero knowledge of the American dub of any digi-series. I will only work with the Japanese version or Brazilian dub. No dub or OG version dunking is allowed in this space by the way.
  • → I don't like passive-aggressiveness. If you have something to correct in my posts, please do it politely.
  • → Usual common etiquette -- No hatred towards people's religions, sexual/romantic orientation, gender (or lack of), PoC, ethnicities, etc. I won't hesitate to block if needed.
  • → Do not edit my art or repost it. If you wanna use it as an icon/sidebar, ask first. And no, you cannot use my art on A/I & N/F/T for ANYTHING. If you do that, I will block you immediately.

→ Spoilers will be tagged, always. Also if I ask for no spoilers, PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING!!

I think this scene is very underrated and misunderstood, ngl.

This scene here is showing that with or without a digimon, all of them are capable of achieving their dreams and do amazing things, and that Daisuke and the other Chosen Children are not "special" at all, not even if they got a digimon partner.

Just because they got dragged into this "double-life" of ordinary child and a world-saving protector does not make them different from "non-Chosen Children". Therefore this is why Daisuke feels very uncomfortable with that accusation that he was somehow "better than anyone else" just for having a partnership with V-mon.

I'd like to talk about my views about DaiLui and why i feel like it could be mutual.

Like, i do believe in the Rui → Daisuke order because it's more accurate and cuter, even if a bit of cliché. But I also like Daisuke → Rui route, it has its own charm and comedy in it.

But Rui is not like Daisuke, of course, and they differ between how they react to people having romantic interests on them.

Rui might not be oblivious like Daisuke, he's pretty well aware of people's feelings so if someone ever confessed to him, he would be in denial due to his past experiences and awful trauma he had. He's still learning to socialize and to interact with others, he's not used to people really liking him. So it will be a bit hard but you can get there, Daisuke-kun!

Meanwhile, and as everyone is well aware, Daisuke has zero awareness when people like him if you don't tell him (or even, if you tell him, he might not believe it either). Since he's dense af, there's a lot of work to be done here in this relationship so good luck, Rui-kun.

... And then I realized that i just described mutual pinning for the first time in my life.

🍜 DAISUKE TUESDAY RETURNS 🍜

I just miss Daisuke Tuesdays so I revamped it and made it easier to participate.

And yes, I can reveal it now this whole idea started when I saw a translator's sub of the now-deleted sneak peak footage from 02TB from the DigiFes 2022 event (which also was streamed online and people recorded it btw)

So, "Daisuke Tuesday" began as something silly I saw and then friends enabled me, and helped with some stuff. (because they know i deeply love this boyo for a whole decade lol)

If you watched the movie, you may be aware that every Tuesday Daisuke is allowed to run his own small business -- Motomiya Ramen -- at Yamatoya Ramen. This is also developed further in the Drama CD track 1, which takes place prior to 02TB movie events.

🍜How to Join:

  • Make a post sharing Daisuke & V-mon love
  • Tag it as #DaisukeTuesday ( also #火曜日は大輔の日 )

🍜Some easy guidelines, please follow them:

  • No negative/bashful/hateful content is allowed

The year is not over yet, but I'm making a interest check for Feb 28 2025 for Rui-kun's non-leap year birthday.

Be aware that this date is based on headcanon, and only assumes that his non-leap year b-day is on February 28th.

I just think he and Ukkomon deserve all the love we can give them, and Rui's like the very first Advverse character to have a canonical and confirmed birthday. (Why don't the others have official birthdays? Shiha has the answer right here for you!)

So here's a poll for y'all!

The rules are still the same as for the previous b-day event!! If the majority of people are interested in participating, there will be a new post with the new tag for the event.
