What's your favorite book? Or books? (I know it can be hard to pick one) I need some new book suggestions and have apparently taken to consulting random strangers on the internet whose blogs I like.
Well, being that I don’t know you or your personal preference in books I can’t promise that my recommendations will be to your taste, but I hope that at least one might hit the mark.
Most of my favorites are very obvious and it’s not likely that you haven’t heard of or read them already: the Harry Potter series is probably the most re-read and dear to my heart. The Inheritance Cycle, The Lord of the Rings, things of that nature. Some of my favourite classics are Wuthering Heights | Pride and Prejudice | The Bell Jar | The Voyage Out | A Room of One’s Own | The Catcher in the Rye, Through the Looking Glass | This Side of Paradise | A Moveable Feast, also pretty much anything and everything written by Oscar Wilde.I also really enjoy Chuck Palahniuk’s work. It can be a bit much for me at times but theres something undeniably magic about that mans distinct voice and talent with repetition. If you’re into nonfiction Jon Krakauer is one of my favourites. Especially fond of Into the Wild, Into Thin Air, and Iceland. As far as YA is concerned my preferences are fairly scattered, other than the solitary glowing beacon of genius that is Maggie Stiefvater. Maggie, you have my heart.
I hope some or any of this helped! Happy reading, anon.
