I definitely have not gotten the hang of long exposure star pictures yet, but I still really like this picture. You can't really take a bad picture of the sky. Unspeakable beauty and all that.

Just a quick thank you to everyone who purchased something from my shop last week, I can’t tell you how much it means.💛 I’m going to try to make some more of the things that have sold out, so hopefully there will be an update sometime next week!
I finally finished making these little barn owl/branch necklaces! I’ve made 5 of them; two with silver branches, one with a bronze branch (pictured above), and two without branches. Each little owl is hand made with polymer clay, baked in the oven, painted with acrylic paint and finished with a gloss glaze. The necklaces are 20″, silver plated. They will be available on my etsy along with quite a few other things on November 20th! I’ll post an all-inclusive update before I make everything available! (Each one will be shipped out in one of these hand painted night sky boxes with a card! I’m having too much fun with this honestly.)
Night Sky
-clear resin and powdered dye set in a backless silver frame. I was planning on adding this to the etsy update coming up but I’m getting quite attached to it..I may have to just make another one.
Also I made this matching Night Sky necklace/earring set today with resin and powdered dye and they turned out better than expected! To be fair the bar was low to begin with, but still.
On the bright side I got to paint rocks at work the other day and painted this little coppery fox (inexplicably sleeping in outer space, what’s new).
Some photos I took of the super moon last night.. I sat out in the grass for ages waiting for it to come out from behind the clouds, (to no avail) but I actually like these cloud-cloaked moon pictures a lot, so its all for the best.
I still have quite a bit of work to do detail wise, but I’m reasonably pleased with how this painting is turning out so far. :)

I was painting a canvas black this morning to prep for a portrait and I accidentally set my hand down in a giant glob of black paint and instead of washing it off like a rational person I just spread it out over my whole hand and added stars. It looked moderately cool for about 3 minutes and then it was just a nightmare to get out from under my fingernails.
