My grandma got me these socks for my birthday. She’s honestly the best.
I exhausted all of my metallic copper paint on this little project, but I don’t even mind look how shiny! So shiny.
We got in some plain white decorate-it-yourself halloween masks at work so I had to take a couple home to make examples with and ended up making a Monarch and a Luna moth!
Once upon a time my mom was going to paint a mural of my horse Cloud on the wall of the A frame room above the barn for me, and so one day while I was at school her and papa took Cloud out to one of the nearby poppy covered hills and turned her loose to take pictures for the mural. I don’t know what happened to most of the pictures from that day, but I still have this one of papa taking her halter off. Sometimes when I think about her now I like to imagine her still standing uninhibited in the sunlight on that hill, surrounded by green grass and poppy flowers, looking like something out of a fairytale. And she was that. She was a fairytale of a horse.
Picture taken by my mom. :)
So. I finally made an Etsy shop! Most of the artwork I’ve made in the past year is now up for sale at www.etsy.com/shop/tolackcolour, along with a custom animal portrait option! Its going to be a learning experience at the very least. If any of you lovely people are interested in buying some of my art, or would like for me to paint you a custom portrait of your pet please give the shop a look. Thanks for all the support, as always, you’re all super-duper <3

Finally finished this little series of moths! (lets just pretend I didn't accidentally paint a butterfly for the last one)
