Some more photos from Ieyasu's shrine in Nikko. I included the elephants made by an artist who had never seen one, the famous monkeys, and some examples of the rather ornate style of the shrines here. One of my favorites was the little bonsai maple with fall colors.

A visit to Nikko and Ieyasu’s shrine. We saw beautiful temples and gorgeous foliage both. I made few iPhone pictures, I will upload camera photos later.
