This battle event???

Hokayy post BE i am still smh, but Voltage is conducting a survey rn for BE feedback that i def took time to submit. I suggest everyone else do it!!!

I am most definitely still unhappy. I still feel that we were set up to fail. But i can at least point out specific reasons:

Poor timing: Deciding that players would need to spend cash on Christmas day if they wanted to rank successfully was... not cool. If this had been timed with the biggest holiday of the year in the middle, it would have been easier for a player to direct their money toward gaming over, say, taking care of their loved ones. When it came down to it, it didnt feel good to have to make that choice.

Terrible team structuring: The motivation for ranking is to get the partnered characters. That's it. So is there a payoff for attempting high rank in even one team if none of the characters fit together? This was designed to encourage players to "betray" for more than just the basic loyalty prizes - we love using "betrayal" for more prizes! We know that its risky trying to rank for more than one team. But was it work the risk and expense for just one set of compatible characters? Was it worth it for two? At some point in the competition, the literal cost of winning became a wasted effort for middle and low range spenders with no payoff for their investments - they paid for characters they didnt even want!

Basically i feel that this new format only rewarded players willing to spend at a high threshold during a high expense holiday and that these team assignments lead to a payoff too low to justify the investment for middle and low level spenders - aka more of their players than usual as a direct result of the event schedule.

Tldr im not interested in another event designed like this.
