Bucky x Sarah - The Nanny AU
Sarah is the rich widow with two kids to take care of. Bucky is the broke disabled veteran without any childcare experience but Sarah's children fall in love with his metal arm instantly.
Sarah: You can take the kids for a week, right?
Sam: Sure but why?
Bucky: I asked your sister to go on a vacation with me. We are sharing a cottage right by the water.
Sam: How convenient, Sarah. If Bucky annoys you too much you can drown yourself or even better... drown him.

Bucky: Water is wet. My arm isn't flesh and blood. I lost my virginity to Steve. Sarah is hot.

At first no one knows if Sarah and Bucky's daughter is going to inherit his super soldier abilities. The first giveaway is when the little girl throws her Bobby Car at Bucky during her first tantrum. That happens when she's only 16 months old. Bucky easily catches it yet can't help but let out a surprised gasp. Surprisingly the toddler rarely uses her super strength to get what she wants from Sarah. Sam blames it on Bucky coddling her. Bruce says it might be an instinct for her to know Bucky is, just like her, stronger than the average human.
Sam: Sarah isn't answering her phone.
Bucky: I'll try calling her.
Sam: I tried to call her three times and she didn't pick up. What makes you think-
Sarah: Hello?
Sarah: The food is too hot. I can't eat it.
Bucky: You're too hot and I still eat you.
Sarah: *giggles*
Bucky: *winks at her*
Sam: ONE DINNER! I JUST WANT ONE DINNER!

Bucky: *walks into the Wilson house* Sarah? Baby?

Bucky: It's not what it sounded like. I didn't say baby because we're in a relationship or something like that.

Bucky: *panics* We are having a baby together!

Bucky: Alright, listen up you little shits!
Bucky: Not you, Sarah. You're an angel and we're thrilled to have you here.
Sarah and Bucky have been dating for over a year when Sam gets a call from Sarah. "Has Bucky ever told you if he wants to be a Dad?" She asks and Sam can clearly hear her suppressed panic through the speaker.
"Sarah, is this about Cass and AJ? I don't think you need to worry about that. I hate to admit it but I think they like Bucky more than me at this point," Sam says still blissfully unaware what Sarah is actually trying to imply.
"It's not about Cass and AJ..." Sarah spells it out for him.
".......no. Sarah. Please. Don't tell me it's what I think it is. Please. I can't handle another Barnes. I barely survived the first one," Sam makes a mental note to call Shuri and ask how to remove that damn Vibranium arm so he can kill Bucky more effortlessly for knocking up his baby sister.
Imagine Bucky and Sarah keeping their relationship a secret to avoid freaking the kids and Sam out before knowing if what they have is serious.
One day the kids suddenly stop calling Bucky "Uncle Bucky" and go back to calling him "Bucky" instead. Bucky is worried it's because of something he did wrong but when he asks AJ about it, AJ just raises an eyebrow at him and says "Wouldn't it be a little weird to keep calling you Uncle? I mean you're dating our Mom now." And Bucky just stands there mouth open in shock until AJ keeps talking "Oh. Was that supposed to be a secret? If so you're both shit at keeping secrets." And walks away.

Concept - season 2 has Sarah and Bucky in an established relationship. He goes with Sam on an easy mission and the villain is prattling on and Bucky interrupts his speech with, “Oh please. My ten year old had better world domination plans then you do.”
Sam would go "Your ten year old?????"
Bucky would just roll his eyes and ask "Do you really want to discuss technicalities right now? I'm dating your sister. Get over it. I love her and I love her kids."
And the villain would stand there all awkward knowing he's interrupting a private moment like
Sam and Sarah keep arguing who Bucky's favorite Wilson is until they've had enough and finally ask him but Bucky doesn't even look up from whatever he's doing and goes "Cass. AJ is a close second but only because I don't like that he keeps introducing me to people as the Fall Soldier." without any hesitation.
I don't have the patience to write this fic myself because I lose motivation too quickly to write slow burn fics BUT I need a Sarah x Bucky fic of Bucky being the Luke Danes in Sarah's life. Just him hanging around the Wilson family. He's always there in the background and he's slowly creeping his way into Sarah's heart by just naturally taking care of her and her kids without even realizing how much he's doing for them.
Just give me Step-Dad Bucky content. Please. I need it.
