once you start thinking "idk if I want [transition related surgery] but if I could magically just have the results from it I would agree to it in a heartbeat"

then you gotta acknowledge that you actually do know that you want that surgery. the thing you're not sure about is whether or not you can endure the process of getting and recovering from the surgery.

and you'll never know the answer to that actual question unless you start seriously looking into it and researching what that process is like and what things you'd need to do in order to make it happen.

January Endangered birds 4 (#63) - the Bugun Liocichla (CR)

Somehow, this bird was undiscovered until 1995! It took several surveys before it was seen again ten years later and described. As far as we know, they are restricted to a teeny tiny area at the East end of the Himalayas.

We don't know much about them; Are their numbers declining? Why are they restricted to a tiny range when suitable habitat is nearby? Their estimated population is only 25-250 adults, so we just need to hope they are hanging in there and doing alright!

Hi everyone! I am open for small portrait commissions, many slots open.

Am barely making ends meet with my one main job taking over most of my life, as I am the Sole caretaker of three disabled people in the global south. Would absolutely love some clients. ETA is early February to middle February, and first come, first serve.

My mom is a full time wheelchair user, and tomorrow is her birthday! Am aiming to purchase her a wheelchair, flowers, and a nice dinner.

My portraits are only 40 usd per piece.

I cannot draw real people (takes much longer for me to draw.). I can draw from references of real people for ocs, but they probably won't look exactly the same as I'll go for ~vibe.~

I cannot draw furry, but humanoid is OK, and I cannot draw faceless entities as these are portrait commissions! No mecha as it is beyond my capabilities.

Please only order what I am advertising my lieges 🥺 I do have to put this disclaimer here, as I do occasionally get orders that are like "for your portrait commissions can you draw me a full body person in a fully painted scene with a full background?"... for these commissions I only do *chest up, no hands, full view of face and any headgear. *
