Thank you a ton!! My biggest, most useful tip is decide on what kind of art you want to do, as specific or as broad as it may be, and study! Learn from classical sources like Loomis and others to get comfortable with drawing, then when you have a handle on feeling comfortable with a pencil, understanding the concepts of proportions (not necessarily accurate ones as I believe that's best tackled as an intermediate subject, but more in how they work in reference to each other and why), and building complex figures or scenes with shapes; that's when you can look into specific artists for reference and inspiration! Just remember that at the end of the day your goal should never be to copy or replicate someone's style, it should always be to make your own through inspiration from others!
Also, don't be afraid to make "unappealing" drawings or mistakes; you can't learn if you don't fail, and even then art and illustration is an experiment!
