today we are going on a train to a village an hour away to stay in a pub for two nights for a walking holiday :) we’ll watch the eng v greece match at the pub and be briefly united with strangers we’ll never see again :) we’re bringing a flask for tea but will probably spike it with the supermarket’s cheapest irish cream :) we’ll get pasties and jam doughnuts and eat them in the rain on a wooden bench on a hill dedicated to some lady called jane who used to go there with her husband :) life is good :)
