I find it absolutely beautiful that Jack and Sally can have matching Pumpkin King and Pumpkin Queen plates in Disney Speedstorm.
And matching moonlight suits as well...

I'm sorry but I just can't get this out of my mind. Why does Disney insist on forcing their artists to make the most hideous anatomically-incorrect art with plastic-ass shading and wrong colors/fixes, when if you give the artist more breathing room, they will do waaay more justice for the characters and actually make it nice to look at.
AND THE RIGHT IS COVER ART FOR A CHILDREN'S BOOK! THE LEFT WAS ON THE OFFICIAL DISNEY+ PAGE FOR THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
Happy Halloween from yours truly!
I know a lot of people are (rightfully) complaining about Doctor Finkelstein being the free Nightmare character in Disney Speedstorm, but I still think it is SO COOL that this game included him at all.
I love how they have animations of him trying to stand like in the movie, and with his unique skill, Super Invention, he'll start riding his wheelchair on the track and it is so much FUN!
They didn't have to go this hard with him, BUT THEY DID!
When I'm watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack doesn't listen to Sally
Shared in the TNBC server, Ken Page's last-ever role for Oogie Boogie. I get so emotional hearing him in-game, I can't believe Disney Speedstorm means something special to me now.. </3
Here is my complete review of the newly-released Disney Twisted Tales book, Sally's Lament. I will be making some comparisons to the TNBC sequel novel, Long Live the Pumpkin Queen, as well as other Nightmare adaptations and Twisted Tales books I've read thus far. This book, however, will be treated as it is - a 'Twisted' Alternate-Universe take to the movie's storyline.
Spoilers below!
Check your local cinemas for any screenings. Disney's Hocus Pocus is also returning to the big screen, for those interested!
“What if Sally discovered Christmas Town instead of Jack?”
Sally has mostly loved her creepy hometown of Halloween Town. But lately, she can't help but want something more. In a place full of the frightening, you'd think living in the shadows wouldn't feel so . . . isolating. She knows she could do so much more if she wasn't always stuck in the lab of her creator, Dr. Finkelstein. Soon Sally is surprised to learn that the Pumpkin King, Jack, is longing for a change of his own. Determined to find a solution for them both, Sally follows a vision that could be the key to changing their fates.
But the more time Sally spends in the strange, jolly land of Christmas Town, the more suspicious she grows of the seemingly idyllic winter wonderland. What is lurking behind those dancing sugar plums? And what exactly does it mean to be put on the Naughty List? Will Sally be able to save the best of both towns—before it's too late?"
Two things today - promotional key art of Nightmare Before Christmas in Disney Speedstorm, and an announcement from Gameloft that Santa Claus is coming in the next update for Disney Magic Kingdoms!
I took a look at the key notes and noticed it says Santa will have a 'Candy costume'... do they mean him in the bag? The missing hat and candy in his beard? Will Jack be getting his Sandy Claws costume? So many questions, but I hope he's obtainable without money, and I can't wait to see what quests he'll have!
