Yeah, it’s again Sonic Heroes, but I never said that I wouldn’t continue to create screenshots of a certain game if I did it once  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like many moments of the cutscenes and imagine how it would look in the show, how the characters would interact with each other at a certain situation. In general, this is the second part of the fake screenshots of Sonic Heroes :p.

Let’s blast thru with Sonic speed! Okay! Alright!

Sonic Adventure was one of my favorite games growing up (and still is!!) But sometime when I was like 16 I decided to watch some videos about the game. 

Every. Single. One. Was. Negative. 

Game Grumps kept PURPOSELY hitting the same glitch in emerald coast. 

Other people kept TEARING APART its story saying that it was incomprehensible when actually they refused to pay attention to how Sonic Team Portrayed it.

They said the models looked bad and the lip syncing was horrible (forgetting it was one of the first games that even HAD lip syncing) and they went on and on and … it happened to every other game too. It happened to their shows. It happened to the comics. It especially happened to the fans of the franchise. 

All this negativity ended up with me no longer liking Sonic Adventure 1. 

It made me not want to play any of the games or look at the shows. 

It made me not want to read the comics.

It made me think that ocs and recolors and fanart were ‘crIN  g Y’ 

It made me too scared to mention it to any of my friends. 

It made me fall out of love with the series that I had been deeply in love with since I was a literal baby.

And I can never tell you just how much that hurt me. 

The negativity that surrounds the Sonic Franchise is exhausting, and its much easier to join in with it instead of being in a seemingly loosing side of an argument. 

But you know what?

I am 20 years old. 

I am a rational consenting adult and I can make my OWN decisions on the things I interact with. 

-Sonic Adventure 1 is one of the best games in the series.

-The Sonic games in general are Good and Fun games!

-THE 3D GAMES ARE JUST AS GOOD AS, IF NOT BETTER THAN THE 2D GAMES. Yes. Even 06. Even ROL. Even Shadow. Even Rings and Black Knight and Free Riders. They have problems. Yes. But that doesn’t mean we should rip into them until the community becomes nothing more of an echo chamber of hate and criticism.

-The Sonic racing games are more fun and creative and fairer than Mario Kart ever was. 

-The Archie comics had problems (primarily Penders™ and the artists who drew Sally way Too Horny.) but were pretty dang good!!

-THE CURRENT SERIES OF IDW SONIC COMICS ARE AMAZING TOO.

-Sat-Am still has me hanging on to every line and every moment and is still one of the best shows i’ve ever watched.

-Underground is a bit Wild but its still enjoyable and I would literally die for the characters of Sonia, Manic and Aleena. 

-AOSTH has provided some of the best jokes and memes i’ve ever seen

-Sonic X was my literal childhood and ITS STILL GOOD!!!! (Shut up about Chris! He acted just like any 12 year old would and Cosmo was one of the best characters in the whole show! ((i will concede that the Japanese dub was better tho.)))

-Boom and its incredibly Meta Humor has honestly kinda shaped who I am as a person. 

-And its newer but Mania Adventures is literally a Gift from God. 

ALSO

-OC’s are FUN and GOOD and recolors are FUN and GOOD too!

-FANART AND FANFIC ARE WONDERFUL AND AMAZING.

-AND DISCUSSING THE SERIES WITH OTHER PEOPLE IS LITERALLY HOW FANDOM FUCKING WORKS.

SO IN CONCLUSION:

SONIC IS A GOOD SERIES. 

THE FANDOM IS A GOOD FANDOM.

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET PEOPLE HAVE FUN YOU HYPER-CRITICAL CRINGE CULTURE INDUCING ASSFUCKS.
