The teen titans (+terra) redesigns I made for fun some time ago
The designs are a mix of different comic or animated versions and whatever I thought would look cool They're younger than in the NTT comics, more similar age range to the 2003 cartoon (aka actual teens): Gar/Tara-15, Raven/Dick/Donna-16, Kori/Wally-17, Vic-18
So there’s a Screen Rant article saying how DC needs more stories like Shazam and less like DC Universe Titans. As a fan of both I find that to be a giant load of crap and since I can’t comment on that article thanks to Facebook being buggy for some reason I’ll leave my thoughts here:
1. No one is forcing you watch crap you don’t like.
2. It’s really selfish to demand something shouldn’t exist because it’s not your cup of tea. It would be like if someone walks into McDonald’s and said “Oh I prefer burgers, therefore McDonald’s should eliminate all their chicken and fish items from their menu”. Dude, you’re not the only customer. People are allowed to have their own preferences and shouldn’t be punished because you want to reduce everything to your narrow mindset
3. It continues this irrational mentality that every piece of superhero media has to be exactly the same. Why are people still campaigning for tonal stagnation I’ll never understand.
Short response: No Matt, there’s nothing wrong with DC having stories that have differ from each other tone wise and people do enjoy the “darker” stuff.

I really hope Titans gets at least 4 more seasons. Because I want to see how many fans would bitch about a show ruining their childhood for 5 years.
Because I’m sure whining about Teen Titans Go! was really worth the time and energy as opposed to spending your time on crap you actually like.
You seem to know about Teen Titans Go. Tell me: In the episode "Books," did one of the characters really say "comic books aren't real books!"?
Yeah they did. Robin, Starfire, Cyborg and Beast Boy got into reading via Raven but when she refused to give them more books they acted like drug addicts looking for anything to get their high, which lead to this:
I think it’s a jab at the criticism that “real books are 100% words and anything less robs people of imagination” but the clip above proves the opposite since it takes the titans from their standard animated style to their iconic 80s designs.
