So there’s a Screen Rant article saying how DC needs more stories like Shazam and less like DC Universe Titans. As a fan of both I find that to be a giant load of crap and since I can’t comment on that article thanks to Facebook being buggy for some reason I’ll leave my thoughts here:

1. No one is forcing you watch crap you don’t like. 

2. It’s really selfish to demand something shouldn’t exist because it’s not your cup of tea. It would be like if someone walks into McDonald’s and said “Oh I prefer burgers, therefore McDonald’s should eliminate all their chicken and fish items from their menu”. Dude, you’re not the only customer. People are allowed to have their own preferences  and shouldn’t be punished because you want to reduce everything to your narrow mindset

3. It continues this irrational mentality that every piece of superhero media has to be exactly the same. Why are people still campaigning for tonal stagnation I’ll never understand.

Short response: No Matt, there’s nothing wrong with DC having stories that have differ from each other tone wise and people do enjoy the “darker” stuff.
