i swear if they cancel doom patrol after they did swamp thing dirty because apparently, they weren’t cw enough i’m done

i want superhero shows. i want them to show how dark the dc universe actually is. i don’t want another cut and paste show like the ones in the failrrow verse.

but like… WHY WOULD YOU HIRE JAMES CREEPY PUPPET WAN IF YOU WANTED A HORRIBLY WRITTEN SOAP OPERA?!

Even as someone who likes the CW stuff, I don’t want them all of DC’s shows and movies to be the same. Because that would be dull: how an universe filled with characters with various backgrounds and motivations all end up under the same ‘fun’ tone because some people are so strict and restrictive of what superheroes can be.  Just because I like Supergirl that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy darker stuff like Krpyton or Lucifer. Let us have variety damn it.

Why do people act like Original Team Arrow is the end all be all of the show’s roster? I don’t hate Diggle or Felicity but I feel like they get way more praise or respect than they deserved compared to others. The show wasn’t even all about Ollie’s life as The Hood in season 1 with major storyarcs for Laurel, Thea, Roy, Tommy and others. And when Arrow was at it’s best was season 2. With Roy slowly joining the team, Sara as The Canary and season 3 was pretty good too. The show never been solely about Felicity, Diggle and Ollie and it never will be. The show just wanted to slow burn the elements of the comics (the Speedies, Black Canary) but they were always going to come. I feel like people remember a show that didn’t exist where their favorites were the only ones that matter. This is also why I hate how many people hate on Curtis, Dinah, and Renee as if they invaded a show that was this unbreakable trinity. 

God crap like this is why I hate this first = best mentality.

I don’t understand why people can’t just not watch a show when they literally hate everything about it?  Like, if the only reason you watch is for a ship and that ship isn’t/never will be canon, don’t watch!  If you hate the writing or the way the characters are being developed, don’t fucking watch!

Honestly, sitting here on tumblr and bitching about how much better it would be if person A was with person B or if so-and-so hadn’t done this isn’t gonna change a damn thing about the show.  You’re just going to make yourself miserable and no one in the fandom is going to like you because all you do is complain.  

Not watching a show that you no longer enjoy is literally the best thing and I don’t understand why people don’t just quit when a show meant to entertain them is no longer entertaining.
