So all the people throwing bitch fits over the Snyder Cut of Justice League getting $70M saying shit like “This money could’ve gone to Covid-19 research” do they realize that Warner Media is a god damn media outlet; which is in no way affiliated with the federal government. And that’s not going into other films or tv shows that are getting funding that is roughly the same if not more than Zack is getting. By that reasoning there shouldn’t be any movies, tv shows, video games going undergoing production at all. Just shut everything down until the Corona virus is completely wiped out. But no solely target this one project because to justify your hate boner.
Here’s the better question: why is no one nagging the MCU fandom; proud champions of the “Let’s make Avengers Endgame beat James Cameron’s Avatar’s ticket sales” camp to use their base to fund the corona cure. Or hell at the time of the film’s release that money could have been used for Flint Michigan water crisis or literally any noteworthy cause other than making the fat cats at Disney even more financially obese.

Let’s forget for one second the reason this entire MESS even exists in THE FIRST PLACE. Let’s forget how y’all had no problem staying quiet when Zack Snyder was continuousy harassed, insulted, trashed, hated to the point where it convinced the studios to fire him and butcher his dream project. Let’s forget how you all stayed silent FOR YEARS and even MOCKED THE FANS who believed in the existence of the Snyder Cut and were right.
What you’re saying, basically, is that you don’t want the toxic fans to win. Never mind that it’s a complete hypocritical take considering, well, everything, but alright.
Every fandom has its toxic group. A minority of assholes who’s LOUD and ANNOYING. And yet, you have no problem accepting that not all SW or MCU fans like to bully kids, so why the constant focus on us? SW and MCU fans are still getting content and I don’t see any of you protesting against that? Or talking about deserving it?
I’m not even going to touch the enormous amount of money our fandom raised for charity in honor of Autumn Snyder’s passing, because I doubt you care. So let’s just push aside all fans for a moment. The toxic ones who won in 2017 after years of constant bashing and the toxic ones you feel are winning today with the official announcement of Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Let’s just forget about the fans, even the majority of positive ones who were completely heartbroken over what happened in 2017 and got screwed over in the process.
Forget about all the fans. Think about the director who’d worked his ass off on a movie he was truly passionate about only to be fired during the worst moment of his life, with the studios using his personal tragedy as a reason to get rid of him and still later slapped his name on a project that wasn’t his. Think about the cast and crew who had signed for a particular vision only to end up with something completely different which ridiculized most of them. Think about all the actors that were so excited about appearing in the movie and whose parts were later scrapped. Think of the composer who invested himself into creating a whole score for Zack Snyder’s Justice League only to have it thrown aside to be replaced by something the nostalgia brigade would prefer.
Think of all these people who got completely screwed over in 2017. If you think they deserved to be punished in 2017 and should still be punished today, then you have absolutely no right to judge anyone about toxic behavior.
In short, stay mad.

Zack Snyder recently confirmed that in the Snyder Cut, Steppenwolf gets decapitated by Wonder Woman and his head gets boomtubed straight to Darkseid. I’m gonna patiently wait for the backlash coming from those who had zero problems with Thor beheading Thanos 5mins into Endgame and ignore that it’s accurate for Diana’s character to take this decision.

Some idiot: “I can’t believe Zack Snyder fans actually exist. Why do those people treat him as the second coming of Jesus? Don’t they know his films are an abomination to my childhood?”
Me: Have you ever consider that just maybe we simply enjoy his work. Also maybe your interpretation of us viewing him as a god most likely comes from assholes who treat him as the reincarnate of Satan who caused 9/11, melting the polar icecaps, punched your children in the face, poisoned your water supply, burned your crops and delivered a plague unto your houses and we feel that he doesn’t deserve anywhere near that treatment over movies you didn’t like.
Reminder that people can be enthusiastic for future films for the DCEU while simultaneously request for the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
It doesn’t have to be a choice between one or the other. If you don’t care for the Snyder Cut that’s fine but that doesn’t mean those who do have to stop because you said so. And to the Snyder Cut supporters don’t be Debbie downers on those looking forward to projects like Aquaman and Shazam (But if they’re using the successes as another excuse to take a jab on previous films feel free to call them out on it).

So apparently the Wall Street Journal regarding the Justice League Snyder Cut came out. I haven’t read it because the title itself tells me it’s another uninspiring DCEU bashing article and I don’t want to feed into that crap nor do I need more of it in my life.
I wasn’t expecting a miracle like “yes the Snyder cut is really happening” The least I was hoping for was for the author in question would have a neutral stance. But based on reactions and summaries from r/DCCinematic (specifically from the anti-Snyder crowd) he/she can go straight to hell.
