I'm obsessed with how season one of Arcane introduced Heimerdinger as this furry little man with a funny voice but also as a serious, no-nonsense wise elder character, and then he loses his job and immediately turns into the silliest old man alive. Like he's been near bursting with whimsy and repressing it so hard for so long that now that it's been unleashed he's permanently stuck in kooky old mentor mode. Everyone else is agonising over the horrors but that's not his job anymore and he's honestly just having the time of his life right now
