Dead Boy Detectives Letter Writing Campaign
Every 2 weeks (typically Thursdays), there's a concentrated letter writing campaign to encourage Netflix to renew Dead Boy Detectives.
If you are able to do so, I highly encourage you to send letters! Flooding them with our love and loyalty to the show on an ongoing basis keeps Dead Boy Detectives on their radar, and it forces them to at least be aware of how serious their subscribers are about the show.
Tips to make letter writing more successful
- Put "ATTN TO": specific executives at Netflix, so the letters go to them/their departments. Suggestions are:
Bela Bajaria and Peter Friedlander (Chief US/Canadian Show Executives), Greg Peters and Ted Sarandos (Netflix Co-CEOs) and Reed Hastings (Chairman and Founder).
- Channel your inner Niko and Be Kind.
- Don't stress about perfection. It doesn't have to be perfect. Write why the show is important to you, why you think it needs to be renewed. You can reference any of the articles or stats on the campaign website or social media. I printed a pic of the billboard in one of my letters that went out to each exec (tee hee). Be as creative (or not creative) as you want. What's most important is that it gets mailed :)
