VA-11 Hall-A on Switch and PS4 next year ⊟

Time to mix drinks and change platforms! The excellent “Cyberpunk Bartender Action” game VA-11 Hall-A will be released in Q1 of 2019 on PS4 and Switch. It’s out now on PC and Vita if you can’t wait, or, like me, need to play it on every platform for some reason!

VA-11 Hall-A is a visual novel in which you interact not by choosing dialogue options, but by mixing drinks according to customer orders. You can decide how to fulfill those orders, and, most importantly, how much alcohol to add. As a result, there are a lot of different ways the conversations can go!

VA-11 HALL-A out on Vita November 14 ⊟

You have a week to find your PS Vita, find your charger, and subsequently charge your PS Vita, in anticipation of the arrival of the port of cyberpunk bartending game VA-11 HALL-A.

I loved this game -- I think everyone loved this game? -- and I only like it more the longer I think about it. I cannot wait to play this again, maybe going for some different outcomes this time.

N++, VA-11 HALL-A in new Humble Bundle ⊟

Quick break from Switch news for games you can play right now! The Humble Overwhelmingly Positive Bundle offers these two really, really great games at its $10 level. Even at the lowest tier, you get Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, and Day of the Tentacle Remastered at the next up. So, good bundle. And really, what better choice than N++ for an "overwhelmingly positive" bundle?

You should know: VA-11 HALL-A is out ⊟

It’s a cyberpunk bartending game-slash-visual novel, with waifus to meet. And it is my absolute jam. Ysbryd Games just released the PC version of this cool game yesterday, and I was surprised to learn that even my computer can play it just fine!

I haven’t played much, but the atmosphere and characters got me right away. It’s like living inside of Snatcher for a while, a deep dive into a 1980s-style techno-dystopia, complete with a 1980s-style computer game presentation. And the story is delivered by colorful bar patrons (and employees) all while you mix up and serve futuristic synthoid drinks.

It’s coming out on Vita later, but if you can’t wait, or don’t want to, pick it up right here!
