The Floor is Lava (Team Arrow)

Felicity screams and leans back in her chair, lifting her feet up into her seat. She spins her chair around and continues working while “screaming” without much energy.

Thea prefers to be as high up as possible, and will consider her brother to be a safe spot.

René dodges to the first thing he can find, probably knocking over Curtis or Roy in the process. He points and laughs at everyone who “dies.”

Curtis is so excited about the prospect of playing The Floor is Lava as an adult that he babbles about how great it is until René tells him he’s dead. He scrambles onto a table or chair and starts arguing with René over if he’s dead.

Dinah lifts herself up onto a desk or table, dangling her legs dangerously close to the “lava,” watching her colleagues with amused looks.

Laurel prefers to be safe with someone else, usually with Thea, and will chase her down no matter where she is safe in the room. This has caused them both to come toppling down from one-person safe spots several times.

Roy is mostly confused, and he’ll “die” dramatically if he can’t get to furniture in the first few seconds.

Diggle either is an exception to the game, or he accepts his death with honor, forming a bridge for other people to walk across or stand on.

Oliver refuses to play until everyone in the room is screaming at him, including Diggle (regardless of if he’s playing). Finally, he’ll roll his eyes and hop up onto a desk or chair and continue like nothing’s going on.

Once, Oliver called the Floor is Lava, leaping up into Diggle’s arms and knocking them both to the ground. Their cries of agony as they melted alive will never be forgotten.
