A lot of my inspiration, particularly for my one-shots, come from a fandom discord I’m part of. There, we joke around, discuss headcanons, think up silly and serious scenarios alike, and play out ideas in conversation. There’s an overwhelming amount of support and enthusiasm for each other’s works, which equates to a drive to continue writing within the fandom, which is something I desperately need. Some of my favorite of my pieces started as a little joke on the discord, then evolved to me posting something about it on tumblr (usually in the form of an incorrect quote joke) and finally moved on to become a real fic idea.
