“The most important thing for us is to make sure that Cal’s story feels whole and that we create satisfying narrative arcs amongst the characters that we introduce and create. To me, that has always been the number one priority, to make sure that what we’re doing here regardless of everything outside of it is satisfying in a self-contained measure. And then the fact that it’s then able to deepen our understanding of the Star Wars world and the canon and everything as well is just like this beautiful icing on the top of the cake. But if you don’t have the foundation of your story then everything else doesn’t really matter.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAMERON MONAGHAN! ★ 16 AUGUST 1993 “It was also funny too because, at that point, I didn’t know I was auditioning for a Star Wars game. But I kinda knew. I’ll be totally honest, they made these like, fake audition pages and stuff and I was kinda reading it like, ‘Hmm. This is Star Wars, isn’t it?’”
What’s interesting in this season is the voice and the laugh have changed. I’m kind of playing with the idea that he was stabbed in the throat and so it would in some way change who he is. I think that was important for me. Is making sure it was iconic but at the same time not like you’re just playing recording every time he steps into the scene.
People say I’m a smart ass. Personally, I think my brain is smarter… Not by much, though.
“I really enjoy dancing. When there’s music around, I can’t help it; I start dancing, especially when I’m with friends.”
