Absolute crippling madness.
I think they should add an Igon to every boss fight in every game from now on as an accessibility option.
Nothing would help me more with my anxiety and fear of failure than a man screaming on the top of his lungs about how he hates the very guy whose ass we're currently beating.

Do you ever just want to make an agere moodboard for a WILDLY inappropriate character? Anyway here’s a regressor moodboard for Dani from Midsommar

I need my alters to stop manifesting via fromsoftware games. I understand all of them vibe with us tremendously but it's embarassing to explain you're an introject but not even of a canon character Ever y Time,
... to elaborate our theory on this is basically, there are MANY of us. and as we heal and grow more of us feel comfortable presenting, but many of us too are sort of formless until we reach that comfortability. and then (and this is happening subconsciously, but it's a pattern so there must be a mechanism) they sort of 'emanate' from whatever thing(s) we're really into at the time, using those themes/concepts to convey who and what they are to (us).
souls games in particular resonate with a lot of us it seems, and often folks will take on characteristics of species from those worlds subsequently. or sometimes, rarely, they DO start off as canon introjects, but rapidly spring off into their own being. recently we read that's a good thing, so that's nice...
metaphorically speaking (though, I bet this will actually become a mainstay of our space...) there are multitudes of different masks hung by the entry door, and once they feel comfortable with coming into the roundtable hold (headspace) they get to pick one out. it helps that they're prefabricated, but they always get to customize them over time if they want.

Yknow, I'm genuinely surprised there hasn't been some sort of weird horror/adult adaptation of The Magic Tree House.
Like, an It style thing. And I don't know why that surprises me. The books weren't particularly scary, and I don't know if I ever read the origins book, so I don't know how it ended up there or why those kids are there in it all the time.
But it's still really weird to me. Like, it feels like the perfect recipe for some sort of weird, dystopian horror. An isekai horror, if you will. These two early-to-mid teenagers getting shoved into the past or future or different dimension or however you have it. And they need to get home or whatever.
so umm basically, I'm trapped in samsara(ish) within my own body, and we keep splitting before we can 'escape' and really Truly figure things out, and I don't know how much of this is a metaphor and how much of this is literally what spiritually happened at this point. but Holy Fuck. and it makes so much sense then, too, that the solution is integration and accepting of all there is rather than destruction or suppression or, worst of all, ignorance. even if this is just interpreted psychologically it feels healing and right, and spiritually doubly so
hi so I just learned that you can have separate inner worlds, basically. and that explains a lot about us
some of us are in the same place, some of us are really really far away or just. in an abyss. some of us cannot visualize at all. and not all of us can communicate, there are some that are locked up literally. this makes me really sad but this quote made a lot of sense of it for us
I abandon here the flesh of my body
