I'm becoming more and more of a tes blog as time goes on, so below the cut are brief summaries of all my tes ocs! Fair warning there's 15 it's a lot of typing! Also I'm so sorry for how many tags this is gonna show up in lmao
i need to be more of an asshole (<- hasnt played my favorite videogame in literally years bc moms bf and little bro use the tv for gaming and i always feel like a jerk trying to cut into their gaming time or ask if i could maybe move the xbox back to the living room) (or like theyll think im a lazy asshole piece of shit for gaming bc i have less hours at work than moms bf so im always sitting around on my ass at home and thus have no need to unwind in any way im not already doing on my computer) (i dont even know if my copy of oblivion works anymore :( )
ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help
Operation Olive Branch has a spreadsheet dedicated to mutual aid, local distro, community kitchens, etc. in Gaza.
This is a good place to start if seeking to donate to a community resilience action. Just contact the group(s) directly to make sure they are still active. Life in Gaza and Palestine is full of uncertainty.
i have some google drive folders with personal costume and architecture design refs for hammerfell, cyrodiil, and the reach. these are based on my own ideas and i cannot verify the historical or cultural accuracy of any of the images contained therein (a lot of the cyrodiil pics in particular are reconstructions) but i think they are probably better than 'lady in a headscarf and leather armor bikini with shuriken tied to it'

having an undiagnosed illness is like the check engine light being on all the time in your car, but when you take it to the mechanic, they announce happily that all the tests came back fine! and you just stare at the check engine light with dread.
And when you finally find the right dr who can give you a diagnosis,
so often it ends up "so you're telling me they did all these tests, but didn't even notice the engine doesn't have oil"

Shock amongst local citizens of Vulkhel Guard as notable local figure Oridiil, priest of Mara, was reported to be spending his time with an outlaw! Other worshippers interviewed say the priest is often slinking off for hours at a time, to only the divines know where.
Last morndas as Watchman Heldil ,50, stood watch, he reports seeing a strange dunmer meet with the priest. He wasn't sure due to the angle of which he stood, but he says the dunmer looked a lot like renowed outlaw Torel. "He had this shifty look to him, and worn all black. Real ominous. Don't know what a respectable man like Oridiil is doing meeting with someone like that. Pretty sure this isn't the first time either."
Other priests and citizens have corroborated this story, and rumours have begun to fly. Is Oridiil a secret daedra worshipper? Is he a thief, helping orchestrate a grand heist? Worst of all, many suspect a romantic entanglement between the priest and the outlaw.

We went to him for quote:

Not all are bothered by these rumours though, and some interviewed were even in favour of it

Little is know of whether the dunmer he is cavorting with is actually famed outlaw Torel, and we at the Tamriel times will stand by for further reports.

neither “that’s not canon” nor “fuck canon we made this all up” but a secret third thing (canon shouldn’t be taken as gospel but is useful as a reference point for building upon and recontextualizing characters and details. if you worship the source material as unchangeable then fandom in general probably isn’t for you. if you have complete disdain for the source material you would probably enjoy yourself more in a different fandom)
