You know what I just realized? “How was the fun-vee?” After months of Tony being held hostage, Rhodey STILL remembered the throwaway comment about the fun-vee. Like, for MONTHS, he probably played those words in his head over and over, thinking they were the last thing he’d ever hear Tony say to him. “How was the fun-vee?” Rhodey asks, almost accusatory, as his heart is breaking and overwhelmed at the sight of the man he thought he’d never see again. “How was the fun-vee?” Rhodey asks as he collapses in front of Tony and hugs him as tightly as he dares.

“…I don’t think”
