what did it cost?
“This scene takes place about 20 minutes into the film in Doctor Strange’s sanctum santorum. Tony stark is looking at the burner phone steve rogers gave to him, trying to decide wether or not he’s actually going to contact about what’s occurring in the movie .”
Can we talk about how happy I am they didn’t have Tony call Steve, because I was so fricken happy.
It’s akin to Tony apologizing and imho he has NOTHING (for the most part) to apologize for. Tony calling Steve would have been an admittance of Steve being wholly in the right and you know what, he wasn’t. To me I came out of CW 100% convinced Steve fucked up and single handedly tore apart the Avengers, while Tony did do much wrong himself he was more concerned with keeping everyone together. Everyone was safer, the world and the Avengers themselves, if they were together so if they had to bend to a few rules so be it.
I dunno I just liked it.
MY PURE PRECIOUS SON DID NOT DESERVE THIS HE WAS JUST A KID
I don’t feel so good, Mr. Stark.
I don’t wanna go…
How long do you think Rhodey, who searched for Tony for months, who never gave up hope, looked for Sam Wilson on the battlefield, and do you think at a certain point he was hoping to find nothing and keep some hope or to find a corpse to mourn and bury
Hey what do you think about Rhodey steeling himself to tell Nat and Steve what happened, what he think happened, huh you ever think about Sam Wilson dying alone and unobserved and the people who love him getting no closure about what happened to him, you ever think about Sam Wilson and then collapse into nothingness yourself
yeah bud hmmm yeah can’t imagine why my dash keeps reminding me of the tragic disappearance of sam wilson
in this house we love and support morgan stark
“I don’t wanna go.”
Nat smile
How can some people say that the smile that Nat is giving Bruce in A3 is just a friendly smile.
That is fondness and longing and relief and “goddamn did I miss you, but I know you came back because of some serious shit.”
She knows that the only reason that he’s back is because shits about to get fucked, but she’s still happy to see him. Jesus god that smile says everything tho! That is not a smile for a long lost friend. That’s a “If this situation were different and I was that kind of person, I would be sweeping you off your feet right now, in front of everyone.”
Would put a different spin on Sam’s “awkward” comment. Actually, that’s how I’m choosing to interpret it from now on. That the room was so FUCKING charged with repressed longing and desire and that for one second Bruce and Natasha were the only two people in that room.
He’s not even angry.. He’s just.. *Sigh*
My favorite moments of Infinity War - Part 9
There is literally no way you can come out of that theatre with a reason to hate Tony Stark. Literally no way. He was perfect and he was sad and he was so fucking strong, all the fucking time, he went toe to toe with Thanos without hesitation and paid the price for it, but he went and did it anyway. This was Peak Tony Stark. Again.
More Time
What could have happened off screen during Bruce and Natasha’s reunion.
A/N: As promised I have begun my “fill in the gaps”, missing scene series of Bruce and Natasha through Infinity War. I get more done when I write short one shots, so that’s how I will post them. They’ll be out of order, but once I’ve finished I’ll make a list in order. Pls enjoy.
*Mild Spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie yet.*
“This is awkward.”
Sam’s words sounded distant, like a faint echo in her head. The room was silent around them, heavy like the weight Natasha felt in her limbs. Two years of waiting and wondering coming to a head with a simple greeting. She hadn’t been able to think of anything better in the moment, but it seemed to have done the job.
